The food was excellent and service was great however I did not like how our server asked if my husband and I were paying separate. He assumed we were just friends. My husband is Japanese and I am black. We were greatly insulted.

The food is okay but the avocado and cucumber both tasted bad and the tuna didn’t look the best. Other than that the rest of the food was okay but the sushi ruined it.

Walked out when I had been sitting at my table for over 15 minutes without a waiter ever coming to check on me. There was maybe 2 waiters for the entire crowded restaurant so they seem extremely understaffed.

The food is very well prepared as evidenced by the taste that it offers. You need to wait for your orders a bit more bit I think it's because it's packed when we ate there for dinner and the waiter forgets the orders too. But overall, the restaurant itself is recommendable.

This was one of my favourite Japanese restaurants. They had an excellent happy hour every night which I used to enjoy alot in the spring/summer sitting outside. Sadly I went this time to discover they no longer had the happy hour and only had an all you could eat menu. It is a good deal if you want to eat alot - but I don't want to eat that much so not as good a deal for me as the happy hour. Also there was a piece of plastic wrap in my ginger which sadly made it into my mouth as I didn't see it. They gave me a discount for this - but really - no-one wants to eat plastic which has been touched by how many people. Secondly, my friend had Chicken katsu and it was the most unappealing looking meal I've seen. She didn't enjoy it. Chicken on the plate, with a big dish of sauce with a couple of pieces of broccoli plonked on the plate. Looked really poor. My sushi was okay - but sadly the overall experience was not what it used to be. Disappointing - as I won't be going there nearly as much as I used to with no good happy hour and plastic experience. Just wasn't the same great experience I've had in the past.

Exceptional food, selection, quality. Some of the service folks did not understand the menu. Noisy kids. Incredible place though,

Guests frequently praise the value of the all-you-can-eat deal and the wide variety of items, which makes it easy to sample more dishes rather than rely on single large portions.
