I have to be honest! I dined here two days in a row, once for lunch and once for dinner and had an outstanding experience both times. The food is very good and solid! I feel if anyone wants to know what Georgian cuisine is, this will be the place to educate your taste buds! I walked in for lunch unexpectedly coming from the gym and making my way home, but the host was so kind and inviting so I had no choice but to sit down and relax. I helped myself to the khinkali and the garlic Cornish hen and they 2 of the best culinary delights I probably ever had for lunch. I tried to watch my portion so I literally had to wrap my courses up immediately because I literally couldn’t keep my hands off of the food. I then decided to do the same thing the following day but for dinner. It was a great experience and my cocktail was very good. Lunch stood out to me because I like my food to come out very hot, almost to the point where it’s hot to the touch. That was how it came out Wednesday so that’s why that particular dining experience stood out to me. They have great lunch specials that will lure you in, but they’re full menu was so good that I just ordered what I wanted and took home what I wanted to finish later or the next day. All in all, I can’t recommend Ubani enough!

The service was bad. I ordered a drink, but the waitress didn’t put in the order and said I hadn’t ordered it. We also had to wait 15 mins just to get the check.

Authentic Georgian food and excellent service: hatchery was just from the oven; chicken soup was healthy and delicious; henkali were moist meaty with thin dough! Perhaps just salad needs sauce on the side…

Had a wonderful experience having dinner in the garden at Ubani. The setting was lovely and serene, a wonderful change from the noise of Second Avenue. The Georgian bread with the egg and cheese was amazing and highly recommend it. The lamb stew was well spiced and delicious. The waitress never rushed us and gave us detailed descriptions when asked and also some excellent recommendations. Can't wait to go back.

The food at Ubani Midtown was absolutely amazing! The Adjaruli Khachapuri is the best in New York, and the Georgian salad with walnuts was out of this world. The khinkali were incredibly juicy, with perfectly thin dough. We also ordered the beef and pork kebab—it was unreal and grilled to perfection. We’ll definitely be back!
