We are authentic Italian wine bars boasting quality wines and tempting Italian food on Valpy Street, Reading.

Veeno was born in 2013 with two friends who shared a love for Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. A daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family.

Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard in Sicily where Great-Grandfather Francesco planted the first vines in the XIX century.

Since then, Founder Nino and the team have been working hard to ensure that our quality and tradition could flow from the bottles to the glass in your hand.

From our family to yours, we hope you enjoy our authentic Italian experience.

A Trip to Sicily

Our signature experience offers 6 wines to taste, all from the family vineyard in Marsala, Sicily. 2 whites, 1 rose, 2 reds, (70 ml each) will be accompanied by Italian meats and cheeses of the highest quality and bruschetta al pomodoro. One of our team members will give an introduction to each wine and explain which appetiser best complements each wine. To finish things off. A glass of sweet wine (25ml) will be perfectly paired with our delicious homemade tiramisu.

Fancy an Afternoon Tea with an Italian twist? Choose between coffee or tea and indulge yourself with the traditional scone and jam accompanied by some great paninis filled with Italian meats and cheeses. Cake and cannoli to top it off.

Everything about our visit was wonderful afternoon tea was beautifully presented and tasted great very attentive service lovely surroundings will definitely go back and try other experiences there highly recommend

As always - Veenos was an excellent choice of venue! Staff are attentive & knowledgeable about the wine & food! Our sharing board was delicious! The limoncello shot was an unexpected treat!! Definition will be back!

We wait for an hour to the food as the waiter forgot to order. They only gave us 2 shots of limoncello. Very sad

Great place with good food, very disappointing however that it's not possible to order cured meats without having cheese also (it's possible the other way around). Seems like a missed opportunity

Helpful staff and great service. However noisy. Not the ideal private date scene. My date’s meal was great, mine was half-done. Otherwise, great experience overall.
