Velvet is a hyperseasonal cocktail bar (no food) in Berlin Neukölln. It’s weekly changing cocktail menu reflects the flavours available from Berlin’s surrounding at the time of the year and has earned the bar the title "Bar of the Year Germany" twice by Mixology Magazine & No.77 in the World's 50 Best Bars Top 100 in 2023. After harvest on their regular foraging trips in and around Berlin, the team turns seasonal plants into liquids on the weekly Lab Day. The bar focusses on light spirits aswell as sake, madeira, sherry or dry vermouths, to leave space for the natural plant flavours to shine.

Velvet is always such a charming and curated cocktail experience. The drinks are all locally sourced and different every week. The bartenders are attentive, friendly and talented. It’s always a pleasure visiting.

Sehr interessante Cocktails, u.a. mit selbst gesammelten und verarbeiteten Zutaten, auch die alkolfreien, und toller Service (durch die kreativen Köpfe hinter den Drinks selbst).

We had a wonderful time exploring the menu and chatting with the bartenders. All of our drinks were fantastic! We loved the locavore aspect of the drink menu, and the quality of each drink. We even took a bottle of the Velvet Gin home...all the way to Maryland. Top to bottom a lovely experience.

Always Super. Innovative, fun and friendly. Seasonal cocktails - true seasonal herbs and vegetables, and local Berlin too. Awesome service always from Ruben, Sarah and the team. Still the best cocktail bar in Berlin. Really.

An unbelievable experience from the moment you walk into Velvet. The seasonal menu of house made spirits and NA cocktails. Beautifully crafted and presented. Highly recommended this amazing bar.

Wunderbare Bar mit sehr nettem und aufmerksamen Service! Man wurde vorab gut über die Drinks aufgeklärt und es wurde immer darauf geachtet, dass wir Wasser aufgefüllt bekommen

Always the best. In a city with some of the world's best cocktail bars, Velvet, with its local forage approach and weekly changing menu never disappoints. Some of the best cocktails in Europe, a great staff (Ruben, Sarah and the team rock and are so friendly), great atmosphere, and it shows they love what they have created. A must go in Berlin!
