Hadn’t been here in years…it was just as great as before. They didn’t rush us since we wanted to visit with our friends. Food, service and ambience all great. They were surprisingly quite busy fir a Monday evening!

Always the best service, the best food, and such a gracious restaurants. This is my go to place for a business dinner, a family dinner, a birthday dinner, an anniversary. Oh just pick anytime you want a great meal.

My friend and I had dinner at Vino Santo last night. She had ordered DoorDash from them a few times before and this was my first time to eat there. We split every dish we ordered and there was plenty of food for both of us. What an absolute delight! Every single dish was delicious! The Bruschetta appetizers and homemade bread, still slightly warm from the oven, coupled with their amazing dipping sauce with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, among other things, was divine! That sauce was typical of all their incredible sauces they created for the handmade pasta and New York steak we devoured. The 12 oz. steak was so beautifully marinated, came with scalloped potatoes, a yummy mix of lightly sautéed vegetables, and a flourish of shrimp on top. Nice! The Pinot Grizio wine I had was superb and the waiter was quite knowledgeable about all of the wine selections offered. Our dessert was fantastico with gelato ice cream, fresh fruit, and whipped cream. The waiters were so attentive and solicitous, without being intrusive, throughout the entire evening. We loved our table where we were seated indoors next to a giant open window on Broadway Street in Redwood City. We also want to try their outdoor patio next time. We loved every single thing about this place! It ended up costing about $100 per person, including the tip, for a four-course meal with a glass of wine. It was a little pricey but such high quality food and service that it was worth every penny. We both highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back! Bravo, Vino Santo! Bravissimo!

Great short rib special & Halibut special. Veal Picatta and scallops were fantastic as well. Shrimp appetizer was spot on as always. Chocolate mousse was yummy too. Staff very attentive and wine list fabulous. Thank you for yet another wonderful evening!
