Es wäre gut gewesen, wenn das Volta offen gehabt hätte. Es hatte nämlich Betriebsferien.

Der Laden scheint kurz vor der Pleite zu sein. Früher immer gut besucht, das Essen von gleichbleibend annehmbarer Qualität trafen wir dieses Mal auf gähnende Leere, eine verpeilte Bedienung, die alle 3 Minuten zum Rauchen rausging und die wenigen Gäste allein ließ. Irgendwann beschloss man dann, dass man das Rauchen auch nach drinnen verlegen könnte, also fingen Bedienung, zwei weitere Gäste und der höchst dubios wirkende Koch an, im Restaurant zu qualmen was das Zeug hielt. Das Essen: schmeckte nicht gut, nicht katastrophal, aber doch hingeschludert und den Preis nicht wert. Tut einem leid, dass dieser Laden so den Bach runtergeht, es war immer eine angenehme Adresse im Brunnenkiez. Aber es scheint ihn nicht mehr lange zu geben....

Burger waren ganz lecker, aber nichts besonderes, Pommes frites waren wenig knusprig.

Die Aufmachung des Volta ist super süß. Draußen kann man schön sitzen, trotz der Hauptstraße nebenan! Das Essen ist schon sehr knapp bemessen, für nen stattlichen Preis, dafür, dass wir uns immer noch Voltastrasse im Wedding befinden ;)
