I reserved outdoor seating and still had to wait 30+ minutes. Don’t see any reason for reservations. Food wasn’t very good for 80 + dollars. It has been better in past. All in all a waste of money and time.
Except for having to send steak back for correct order of medium well everything else was fine. We specifically asked how to order. Did not want any signs of red or pink. Waiter acknowledged. Steaks were brought to table and were medium rare at best. Not a big deal but expected what we ordered especially after telling the waiter.
This was our first visit to Walnut Grill. Did not know of happy hour 7 days a week. We both had daily deals and we could have shared one entree. We had the artichoke spinach dip and it was made with fresh ingredients. The restaurant has 4 locations in the St Louis area.
The food was subpar and way overpriced. Service was good and atmosphere perfect.
Pleasant surprised. Nice outdoor seating . Busy for Easter Sunday, but not frantic. They looked like they had it under control, enjoyed the food. Interesting menu. Familiar items with a twist, the special on mimosas and Bloody Mary drink were a real good value. They didn’t try and found you price wise . Do if was affordable.
Reserved outdoor dining only to be told, upon arrival, that they don’t reserve outdoor dining. Then, management needs to tell Open Table that info. Hostess said she sat three outdoor tables minutes before we arrived. So, the app shows an outdoor dining reservation arriving soon yet three non reservation tables sat minutes before the reservation arrives. That makes zero sense. Either use Open Table or don’t use Open table, dont use the app just to draw in customers only to switch the experience upon arrival. Zero stars is my rating.
Our waiter was very attentive and brought me malt vinegar when requested as well. All in all it was a really enjoyable experience! We have eaten in Paris and the UK and this was truly comparable!

The food was great!!! The Sangria, white and read were so good!!! Our appetizer was the pretzel nuggets, wow!!!
There were 3 of us who went for brunch. From the time we got seated until we were able to pay, it had been well over an hour. I ordered a veggie frittata (comes with breakfast potatoes) and a side of Brussels sprouts, my daughter ordered pancakes and my husband got a monte crisco (with breakfast potatoes). Mine was served with tater tots so when I was able to catch our waiter and ask why mine were different from my husbands, he told me they ran out of the normal potatoes. I understand that happens but at least ask before subbing things and not even mentioning it. He asked if I wanted them replaced (with what? The potatoes they were out of???) but I told him no since we had waited so long already and I will simply ready to leave. We had watched at least 2 other tables be seated, eat and leave all while we waited. We spent $56 (including tip) for just an overall poor experience. It would have even been a little better had we not been charged for the side of Brussels sprouts since I wasn’t able to get the side that came with my food. There are way too many other places to go to.

Usually have a good experience here but not this time. Met friends for dinner and they brought a burger out without a GF bun as they ran out of buns and didn’t see if we wanted to change orders. Ordered a replacement meal and came out 10 minutes after everyone was done eating. Friends Pasta special came out lukewarm and water glasses were empty frequently. Confusion with reservations and communication between the friendly hostess and manager who acted like he was aggravated at anyone around. Probably our last time there.
Walnut Grill is one of our favorites. My wife and I enjoyed dinner on Valentine's Day and as usual the service and food was awesome!
Great food, awesome service, And a great atmosphere! We will be back our first time there was on Valentine’s Day and they hit it out of the park!
We had a wonderful experience- from the hostess to our server, we had top notch service. The manager stopped by our table twice to ask about our evening. The food was delicious! The mussel appetizer was soooo amazing- and my favorite is the walnut encrusted salmon. My husband has beef tenderloin prepared to the perfect temperature. Overall, amazing!
The food was delicious as always! Staff was very courteous, friendly, and efficient.
Company is everything

I ordered the Sirloin & Salmon combo and would definitely order it again! I was surprised that the sirloin was tender & really good! Most sirloins I've had tend to be tough, but this one was perfect. And it was cooked perfectly. The salmon was delicious! It was also cooked perfectly! Would definitely go back!
The food and staff were fantastic as always. The attention to detail with respect to Coronavirus and cleanliness were what put this experience above 5 stars
1st timers. Went for my 40th bday. Hostesses were warm and inviting. Waiter was great. Helpful, fast and courteous. Food and drinks were wonderful. Would definitely return
I met with my daughter to celebrate her February birthday and it was a great time to catch up with this very, very busy lady.
My husband and I have been to Walnut Grill three different times, and every dinner has been delicious and the service fantastic!
Great food and the martini special was well worth it. Our server was good however seemed overworked. Maybe needed a little help when it got busy. Will defiantly come back to catch a game or sit on the patio.
One suggestion- the flavored butter served with the bread was strange. Little pieces of chocolate made for a weird combination for most dinners.
Normally the food is great but my dinner wasn’t hot and the food was sauced more heavily than usual.
Usually things are great but this night was pretty bad. Our server rarely came by, and food took over an hour to arrive. When it did arrive half of our entrees were cold. We gave up on dessert as we didn't want to be in the restaurant for another hour after the 2 we were there.
Also, this is the third visit where all of the specials were gone by the time we ordered.
We enjoyed our meal in spite of the fact that our appetizer order was incorrect and then never showed up. Our entre “steak” was a very poor cut of meat The bill was adjusted, so we were treated fairly. We would try coming back

We've always had good service and food at the Walnut Grill. It would be nice to have menu items that didn't have nuts of some kind included with the main entree. i.e. Just plain salmon with a little seasoning.
All in all, I'm glad we had reservations earlier than later, otherwise the wait would have been much worse.
Been to Walnut Grill about 4 times and each.was great. This time we had the chicken with crab meat on top. Outstanding! And we still ended up taking food home with us. Our server, Kristen, was excellent

This was our first visit and I took my husband for lunch there to celebrate his birthday. The food was delish! And he got a free birthday dessert which was great as well. We had prompt and friendly service. We'll definitely go back maybe for dinner next time!

Had reservations that were honored and was extremely crowded, not your fault, and took a long time for dinner to arrive. We came looking for prime rib (had surf and turf (prime rib) there before) and was hoping to see it again. Didn't happen.
Other than that, we'll probably be back.

This was my first visit and I was very pleased with the restaurant. I ordered the chicken and flash fried Brussels sprouts and they were both superb! Our waitress was very I formative and friendly! Had a screaming child at the table next to us, i but other than that, it was a good Dining experience and I will definitely go back.
