    Overpriced and entitled and you should just be thankful. Enjoyed my dish but way more costly than same quality similar dish in Vancouver which was surprising. Had outdoor super wobbly table we had to work on to make useable. The service was bad- one of 4 of us waited very long after others served and waiter said nothing when he brought it. Cocktail was not worth it. Sign of the times I guess. Should’ve stayed home

    service was rushed. Food was mediocre. Loud music was playing in the background. Too much rice in the sushi. Overall not very pleased. With all the sushi options in the area, there are definitive much better options based on how much you're paying here.

    Only knock on the place is we requested outside. They (hostess with pretty girl attitude had no time for us boomers) could have made it happen but didn't. On the other hand, the two waiters who tag-teamed our table killed it. The were slammed, but worked their butts off. The food was very good.

    We had guest from out of town visiting and wanted a nice evening of sushi and drinks. Made a reservation well in advance. We were seated on time but the music was so loud we could not talk. Then no one waited on us. Some came and dropped off a bottle of water after 15 minutes. Then someone came by after sitting for 25 minutes and asked what we wanted to order. We said we needed an explanation of the menu and had some questions. They left and never returned. After 35 minutes of non-service, we just walked out. Will not go back and will not recommend to anyone.

    The tropical salmon carpaccio was excellent. We could have more of that and would have had the rest of our dinner not been so great!! The short ribs were seasoned to perfection and the fish on the nigiri was super fresh!!! We stumbled on Wasabi on a visit to Seattle and will go there again on our next visit.

    Sushi and drinks did not disappoint. We were seated early and our server Roman ( who has been mentioned in other reviews I’ve read ) was fantastic. Charismatic, helpful, funny and attentive. The rolls are large and so tasty and fresh. Highly recommend for a date night or special occasion.

    What can I say, came in for the second time on Wednesday to Wasabi and the place looks amazing, great vibes from our Hostess, the Seafood Ramen was Yum! I had the Mezcaloni cocktail and it was fantastic! Great music selection and a nice Patio. The GM is a kind guy! Thanks Wasabi and see you soon.

    Sushi was not good. I eat sushi a lot and this was not good and in fact I didn’t eat half my meal. The sushi order was delivered within a few minutes of ordering which was a little odd. So quick I wonder if it was pre made but I can’t imagine they would do that with the variety of rolls they offer. The entire time I felt rushed like they were trying to turn the table for the next guest even though there was plenty of seats at the time. Disappointing experience.

    I ordered miso soup, a crunch roll, and karaage, all of which were very good. For my main I ordered chicken Teriyaki, a Seattle staple. What arrived at my table very late, was what I would refer to as desiccated chicken stir fry. There was no sauce or discernible flavor. They did replace it and it was acceptable but it took a lot of time and still wasn’t great.

    This is somehow the perfect mix of a hip and trendy, relaxing, Japanese sushi place with extremely good food. I enjoyed the vegetarian Cowboy roll, Seattle9 roll and cucumber roll - so good, and all of the excellent traditional sushi options were available and more. The seaweed salad was very nice as well. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent! They have high top tables, regular seating. and sushi bar seating. The cocktails, beers, and sake options are all amazing as well. You can’t go wrong here!

    At best mediocre. The service was decent but the raw food was not. There’s a reason why the best sushi places are small. But when sushi is industrialized to such a large extent there is a definite decline in the quality of the food. With that said, stay away from the raw food and order the cooked food.

    Was looking for a casual dining spot with authentic Japanese sushi. OpenTable advertised an “experience” option which I reserved - the counter bar where the ”action” takes place. Upon arrival we were taken to a standard table and only then asked if we wanted the counter when we inquired - less than ideal experience. The waiter gave my guest and I great recommendations for appetizers and was extremely generous with the drinks he served. I appreciated the heavy poor but couldn’t finish the drink… The food was nothing to write home about and would not even recommend this venue to someone who has a novice palate for Japanese cuisine as this doesn’t even come close to what I would deem authentic. As my guest tasted on piece of one of the rolls he described it as “cat food like.” The appetizer was highly confusing as it was a sashimi dish under the guise of a tuna carpaccio wherein neither of us could even taste the fish…. Concerning? I think so. There was one thing that really bothered me by this place as well. The menu items are named in what I would describe as a culturally insensitive. “Asian Armageddon” isn’t the most polite way to market the cuisine you’re intending to recreate and serve. For that reason alone I will take my business elsewhere for mediocre sushi.

    Fantastic sushi restaurant. Innovative menu. Our waiter has an off night it seems. Not normal for the food service we expect. The outside was having some work done so they seated us in a cool inside spot with our dog. How cool is that?

    My first visit to Wasabi, the place is great, friendly staff, delicious food and drinks (Lemon drop and black cod a must!), beautiful decor, cosy atmosphere, and fantastic music selection. 10 out of 10! Highly recommend.

    If you want drinks and something to nibble on, this place is adequate, but anything more, you’d best look elsewhere. The selection is highly Americanized and not of the best quality. TLDR; this place clearly doesn’t understand the Coco Chanel rule of dining. To top it off, it’s pretty pricy for what it is. Wouldn’t particularly recommend unless your night really isn’t about the food.

    The food was absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful. The rolls are a bit pricey, but they were larger than some places which mitigated the difference a bit. Apricot lemonade was also scrumptious. Only complaint is that the tables for two are quite long, putting us a good foot further apart than most restaurants, and the restaurant was very loud with chatter and music, which made it hard to have conversation. I just turned 31 and my hearing is pretty normal, but when my partner covered their mouth for a moment while talking, I had no idea what he was saying anymore (lip reading). Anyhow, overall wonderful place, but I bet turning down the music and smaller tables would prevent people from having to shout, which would overall greatly improve that concern and add a slightly more calm ambiance.
