White Bison welcomes large groups and private events.
Overall it was a good experience and we liked that it was right in the Vail village. The Moscow mule cocktail was delish!
Our meal and service was just ok, not worth the cost. And there was blinding sun shining in the window right on us, they had no blinds or anything to help block it.
The food was tasteless and overpriced. Menu was limited and not very interesting. Good service and ambiance, but I wouldn’t go back.
Not too bad, but certainly not the best place in Vail Village. Choose elsewhere if you have the option.
Food was delicious, especially the lamp chops. Thank you to Ben,the new GM for a great experience.
the artichoke was soggy and way tooooo garlicky.
the salmon was very dry.
We try to come to White Bison every year when we visit Vail. We love the food - I got the salmon; my husband got the pork chops. Excellent wines by the glass. The service is always great. It’s a spacious dining room layout so you are not “on top of” the table next to you, but it’s still a fun, upscale mountain style atmosphere.
Food was really good and service was excellent!
Had a lovely dinner and a fabulous Super-Tuscan wine on vacation! Great place
Everything was a great
Excellent restaurant in Vail Village with a good range of dishes on the menu. The waiters were very well mannered and helpful when we asked for advice about what to eat and drink. The wine was delicious as was the food. The ambience was also good and we had a nice table in the corner of the restaurant.
Excellent trout dinner but disappointed with side of brussel sprouts that was blackened and burned. Fortunately waitress took these off bill.
Food was mediocre at best, nothing special. Really great service but overall much better spots in Vail.
Great food at a reasonable price and friendly service.
Great food and terrific friendly service.
Riquísimo y el lugar muy bonito
La comida estupenda, la codorniz excelente
Food took over an hour and came out ice cold - some of it was frozen. Management admitted not everything made onsite. This is NOT fine dining in Vail. Many many other options with far superior food.
Our server was wonderful and attentive, aware of the fact that we had our toddler with us. Food was very good, I got the pappardelle and my husband got the pork chop. Pappardelle was great but I thought the pork chop was overcooked. Lovely location overlooking the creek.
While I really enjoyed the food my wife was not as impressed. Given the worst table in the house so I’m sure that had an impact. One server was exceptional the other forgettable. I will give it another chance hoping for a better overall experience.
Food was way overpriced for what we received. And all of “medium rare” meat was medium to easily well done. $54 for 2 small overdone lamb ribs and a plop of cold spaghetti squash???
It started off amazing, appetizers were great and then there was a 45 minute wait for our mains. Once the mains came out the sides were cold and the meat was dry. It all started out so beautiful and ended in unhappiness. They took care of 150$ of the bill which was greatly appreciated. I would like to try again because I had much faith in them. But couldn’t believe the meal
Buen ambiente 👌
Our server was rude and our food was cooked incorrectly so they remade it. Which was fine but it took a couple hours and all they offered was a free dessert.
Delicious Valentine meal! Thanks for not having a set menu and for being flexible with the burgers, even though in the end we didn't order one.
Had a great server and host. Lovely meal and bottle of wine. Get the pappardelle! Will be back.
Nice setting along the river, captured everything one would expect when dining in Vail. Probably the best pork chop I ever had.
Phenomenal food and drinks! Service was fantastic and we loved the entire experience there!! Highly recommended in Vail! Definitely try out the Colorado lamb chops. Amazing!
Wonderful, as always. They sat us exactly at our reservation time. Great food, great service, great energy.
The restaurant was good but not great. Most of the dishes underperformed although they sounded amazing on the menu!
The berry cobbler was not a cobbler at all but more like a crumbled scone with jelly on it...
Simply outstanding. Lamb chops and pork chop were amazing...layers of flavor.
Ian, the sommelier, was outstanding, friendly and engaging, we had a great conversation about wine regions and travel. Impressive wine list!
Pork chops were dynamite, chicken was dryer than popcorn in the Mojave. When asked how our meal was, we noted the chicken and didn’t ask for anything, the manager assured us it was abnormal and took it off the bill. Ambiance was great!
Great way to end a day of skiing.
This is a nice room with a great view down Gore Creek. The service was pleasant and even though our appetizer was forgotten they prepared it for us so we could take it home and took it off our ticket. The food here seems quite average, neither hot nor cold and underseasoned to my taste. It was ok for lunch...maybe a better apres place.
Great experience these people know what good device is
Two of us had the chicken as the main course
This came with cold half cooked wedges and the chicken itself was over cooked and dry
Also I visited the restrooms twice and on both occasions there were no hand towels and as there was no handryer there was no method of drying my hands
The meal was good but not memorable. Not worth the expense. For the price there are much better and more sophisticated menus in town.
Food was amazing. Everything tasted fresh. Prices were fit for the restaurant and area.
Great service. Great food. Lighting needs changed. Too harsh.
Great place we will be back
