The food was absolutely amazing! We started with the bone marrow- beautifully prepared with carmelized onions and brioche toast, this is great to share- and the iceberg wedge- classic style wedge smothered in blue cheese dressing, pickled onions and two thick cut pieces of bacon rather then bacon bits!- For entrees we had the 8oz Filet- a simply decadent dish served with asparagus, blue cheese butter and cooked to a perfect medium rare- and the roasted Pork Shank -finished with citrus, fennel and mascarpone polenta- unbelievable! Service was on point and timed perfectly. Overall an excellent experience, we can't wait to go back!
The food was so overpriced and bland. Had a wedge salad which had very little dressing and two pieces of bacon on top. The dressing was tasteless. Then ordered filet mignon which was small and over cooked. The only topping was a slab of butter.

Great service and amazing food! Sat by the window and the view of the river was spectacular! They had coloring sheets for my kids which is always a plus! Try the mango sorbet!
Delicious They were out of the bone marrow and the mussels. The food was great. Just looking forward to one of those two in the future.
My boyfriend and I went in after seeing a movie at Cinebistro. We got seated right away however it took them 20 min to even serve us. My family and I however went in a week prior and it was absolutely amazing. We ordered the mozzarella appetizer and it was to die for. After having that experience was very disappointing. I ordered the mozzarella again and it was awful. The cheese tasted like a dirty mop, the appearance looked very thrown together and it didn’t have anything besides the cheese and tomatoes. There weren’t any beets, and yogurt dressing and no greens. Maybe it was just a lack of communication or there just wasn’t any effort but it was not acceptable. I work in the food business so I get it. 10 o’clock at night is late but everyone should still be giving it their best effort. My boyfriend had the pork shank. Which was another dish my family had and it was AMAZING!!!. However when my boyfriend and I went in it wasn’t as good. I hope this message finds White bison and we can all learn from the mistakes made. Cheers!

I’d have no way of commenting on the menu. We sat down at the bar and the bartender was rude and gave off the impression we were bothering her. So we had a mediocre cocktail and left. I was bummed, as I was looking forward to trying the menu. We went to Mountain Standard instead
This used to be a great place- good food, creatively prepared and moderately priced. Now the menu is more upscale, but the food was unremarkable (bland trout, undercooked parsnips, etc) and high- priced.
Improved menu with upgraded service items. Initially hesitated to return because menu was static but changes made it a good experience.
Great place for food with great ambience and noise level.
Definitely one of the best places to eat in Vail!
Great service and food. Especially enjoyed the bison bone marrow and elk dish.
I dined at White Bison this week for the first time this season. My companions and I had the trout, salmon and chicken, plus the pear-and-pomegranate salad. We thought the food was among the best we've had in Vail. I highly recommend White Bison and plan to return soon.
Overall it was a good experience and we liked that it was right in the Vail village. The Moscow mule cocktail was delish!
Our meal and service was just ok, not worth the cost. And there was blinding sun shining in the window right on us, they had no blinds or anything to help block it.
The food was tasteless and overpriced. Menu was limited and not very interesting. Good service and ambiance, but I wouldn’t go back.
Not too bad, but certainly not the best place in Vail Village. Choose elsewhere if you have the option.
Food was delicious, especially the lamp chops. Thank you to Ben,the new GM for a great experience.
the artichoke was soggy and way tooooo garlicky.
the salmon was very dry.
We try to come to White Bison every year when we visit Vail. We love the food - I got the salmon; my husband got the pork chops. Excellent wines by the glass. The service is always great. It’s a spacious dining room layout so you are not “on top of” the table next to you, but it’s still a fun, upscale mountain style atmosphere.
Food was really good and service was excellent!
Had a lovely dinner and a fabulous Super-Tuscan wine on vacation! Great place
Everything was a great
Excellent restaurant in Vail Village with a good range of dishes on the menu. The waiters were very well mannered and helpful when we asked for advice about what to eat and drink. The wine was delicious as was the food. The ambience was also good and we had a nice table in the corner of the restaurant.
Excellent trout dinner but disappointed with side of brussel sprouts that was blackened and burned. Fortunately waitress took these off bill.
Food was mediocre at best, nothing special. Really great service but overall much better spots in Vail.
Great food at a reasonable price and friendly service.
Great food and terrific friendly service.
Riquísimo y el lugar muy bonito
La comida estupenda, la codorniz excelente
Food took over an hour and came out ice cold - some of it was frozen. Management admitted not everything made onsite. This is NOT fine dining in Vail. Many many other options with far superior food.
Dear Valued Guest, Having read your comments, I am naturally concerned and have addressed these issues with my Team. We greatly appreciate your feedback. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me anytime. With apologies, Ben Christie General Manager
Our server was wonderful and attentive, aware of the fact that we had our toddler with us. Food was very good, I got the pappardelle and my husband got the pork chop. Pappardelle was great but I thought the pork chop was overcooked. Lovely location overlooking the creek.
While I really enjoyed the food my wife was not as impressed. Given the worst table in the house so I’m sure that had an impact. One server was exceptional the other forgettable. I will give it another chance hoping for a better overall experience.
Food was way overpriced for what we received. And all of “medium rare” meat was medium to easily well done. $54 for 2 small overdone lamb ribs and a plop of cold spaghetti squash???
It started off amazing, appetizers were great and then there was a 45 minute wait for our mains. Once the mains came out the sides were cold and the meat was dry. It all started out so beautiful and ended in unhappiness. They took care of 150$ of the bill which was greatly appreciated. I would like to try again because I had much faith in them. But couldn’t believe the meal
Buen ambiente 👌
Our server was rude and our food was cooked incorrectly so they remade it. Which was fine but it took a couple hours and all they offered was a free dessert.
Delicious Valentine meal! Thanks for not having a set menu and for being flexible with the burgers, even though in the end we didn't order one.
Had a great server and host. Lovely meal and bottle of wine. Get the pappardelle! Will be back.
Nice setting along the river, captured everything one would expect when dining in Vail. Probably the best pork chop I ever had.
Phenomenal food and drinks! Service was fantastic and we loved the entire experience there!! Highly recommended in Vail! Definitely try out the Colorado lamb chops. Amazing!
