Located in the heart of Wagga Wagga, the William Farrer Hotel is a short walk to the railway station, the main street and all amenities. We offer guests a great bistro menu with something to suit all tastes and budgets. In the venue you will find a busy front bar, warm and open bistro and an outdoor courtyard. The kitchen is open is open 7 days a week from 12 – 2 for lunch, and 6 to 9 for dinner. We pride ourselves on using fresh and local produce with quality ingredients in all our dishes. Our steaks are 100 day aged grain fed and cooked to perfection and our fish and seafood comes fresh direct from the Melbourne markets. Along with our standard ‘Farrer Favourites’ our dinner menu changes seasonally with a mix of Asian, Mediterranean and Australian dishes. Kids are catered for with a range of meals and we have options for gluten free, coeliac and vegetarians.

    Your food is always fantastic we had eaten at the William Farrer a lot. We love coming back for your food but our last booking was disappointing as the noise was terrible, the food took too long, the toilets were filthy. We are in Wagga to compete a few times a year and love a great quick dinner which we look forward to at the Farrer I hope next visit is better.

    Booked a table 10 days prior. Arrived and no table reserved for us. No apology, staff extremely rude . Told to sit outside in a tent that had been erected with no heating and plastic tables and chairs. Get mistakes happen but the attitude of the staff was terrible.

    Relatives from Sydney joined us for a meal at the William Farrer. They commented that despite the restaurant being fairly full, the sound was muted and we could all hear each other and didn't have to raise our voices. We went into the Public Bar to hear the Male Rugby Choir burst into song, which we enjoyed. Their singing didn't disturb the people eating, so good on you for thinking about soft furnishing and design to keep the noise level down!
