The right hand side of the restaurant is freezing. They say its an ongoing issue. It felt like cold air was blowing on me. It needs to be addressed. The food was amazing, wings were crispy and hot and absolutely delicious. It would have been a 5 star review if not for the air conditioning blowing on me while it was 30 degrees outside.

When you go there plan and being there at least 90 minutes and make reservations as wait times are excessive at times. The kitchen does not push food out to feed as many people as possible. Quality is the thing that sets Wingnutz apart. Your not stopping to grab a bite of Buffalo flare but to have an experience. Amie was our server and was very good. The food exceptional and the experience was gratifying.

They were able to accommodate my party of 14 people, and we only needed one waitress because she was fantastic. We’ll be back again.

Most definitely the best wings I’ve ever had! Their signature sauce is sweet and sour and tangy and amazing, could not get enough! A little pricey, but worth it on the rare occasion I’m in town!

We came to Buffalo from NH. My son heard about Wingnutz on a Barstool Podcast. A group of us went on a night Buffalo Bills were playing at home and what a fun night, with delicious food. Wingnutz did not disappoint!

FAQs

Yes, Wingnutz Buffalo can work well for a casual, fun date night, especially if you and your partner enjoy wings and a lively atmosphere. Guests praise the crispy, flavorful wings and friendly service, and the dining style is relaxed casual with a business-casual dress code. Expect a buzzy, game-friendly vibe on big sports nights; if you prefer a quieter table, ask for a spot in the back room or choose an earlier weekday seating. Call ahead if you want a specific table or to avoid peak game times.

The dress code is business casual. Guests and the dining style suggest a relaxed, comfortable look is appropriate, think neat casual wear rather than formal attire.

Wingnutz Buffalo was started by Ed and Alicia, who set out to make what they call the best wings in the world by focusing on size, sauciness, and crunch.

Portions emphasize big, saucy wings, the owners specifically say they focused on size, sauciness, and crunch when crafting their wings. Guests frequently call the wings the best they’ve had and describe them as substantial and satisfying. If you’re sharing, plan for plates to be filling, and note that some guests mention the experience is a bit pricier but worth it for quality and size.

Wingnutz offers main dining seating and a back room that many guests find quieter, the back room has been used to accommodate larger parties. While the restaurant does not advertise formal private dining, staff have been able to seat big groups (a party of 14 was accommodated). Note: some guests reported the right side/back room can feel colder due to HVAC issues.

Wingnutz has a lively, casual, game-friendly atmosphere, it’s a popular spot to watch football and enjoy big, flavorful wings. Guests describe energetic, fun nights with great service and food; it can get loud during busy times. If you prefer something calmer, ask for a back-room table or an earlier seating. Note that some guests mentioned cold spots on the right side of the restaurant.

Yes, families dine here and guests mention celebrating birthdays and bringing teens. The focus is on wings and casual American fare rather than a children’s menu, so younger children may share from adult plates or order simple items. For family visits, consider an earlier seating or requesting the quieter back room and call ahead if you need high chairs or other family accommodations.

Busiest: weekend evenings and Buffalo Bills game nights, guests describe energetic, packed nights and longer waits. Quietest: weekday lunches and earlier weekday dinners tend to be calmer; Sundays and early evenings can also be less hectic. For a quieter visit, pick a weekday or an earlier seating outside of game days.

Family-friendly seating: yes, guests often bring families, celebrate birthdays, and the team has accommodated large groups (one guest party of 14 was seated). The back room is a good option for quieter family gatherings. Accessibility details (ramps, wheelchair seating, etc.) aren’t provided, so if you need specific accessible seating or accommodations, call ahead and ask the staff so they can prepare.

The best time depends on what you want: for a lively game-night experience, visit during Buffalo Bills home games or weekend evenings. For a quieter meal and shorter wait, aim for early weekday dinners or earlier weekend seatings. Guests report heavy waits at peak times and recommend making reservations or arriving early to avoid long waits.

Yes, while Wingnutz doesn’t list formal private-party services, guests report the staff accommodated a large party of 14 and handled group seating well. For seating preferences, quieter tables, or large-group arrangements, call ahead so the team can prepare. If you have dietary restrictions or need specific accommodations, calling in advance is the best way to confirm they can help.

If you want a quieter meal, choose a weekday (Mon–Thu) or an earlier seating outside of Buffalo Bills game nights. If you prefer a lively, sports-centered atmosphere, go during a Bills home game or on a weekend night. Guests point to both experiences: buzzy game nights and consistently excellent wings on other nights, so pick the day that matches the vibe you want.
