We believe in hearty traditional English food, using fresh local ingredients. We are passionate about using quality local produce and pride ourselves on serving the finest quality steaks, expertly cooked to the your liking, to ensure they are always delicious and tender.

Our delicious range of fish, chicken and vegetarian dishes are prepared, cooked and served with the same care and consideration. We also offer a wide variety of classic English dishes that cater for all tastes and assure the same level of quality.

The Wychwood Inn offers a delicious menu with additional specials created by our chef Joe. Patrice, our local fishmonger supplies all our fresh fish.

We had a Mother’s Day lunch, was lovely atmosphere and great service! The food was good but had quite small portions and the deserts were underwhelming. Other than that was a lovely lunch.

I booked, in secret, for my wife's birthday. I had asked them if I could pre order the food so we didn't have to wait as we were tight on time. I also asked if they could hold onto her gift from me and present it to her with the wine. All went perfectly with superb friendly service, amazing steaks, great value red wine. In and out within 60 minutes. Perfect

Always as usual lovely friendly reception upon arrival, great decoration and seating areas, food tasty. Good for locals and visitors alike. Plenty of outside seating (when weather prevails).

My family & I had a lovely lunch sat in the garden in the sunshine. Staff were very attentive and food came in good time and as ordered. We have been before and we will go back.

As always both the food and staff were amazing. We have used this restaurant on a number of occasions, as my dad lives local to it. The staff always make take to come and talk to us during our visit and the food is always hot, well presented and delicious. The added benefit to us is that we can take our dog.
