Food was just ok. Not sure why this place has such a high rating, maybe the upstairs? Went for a quick solo dinner and felt like I was being glared at by everyone. Ramen was ehh, edible but I can’t see myself ever choosing to go back.

Loved the ambience of the place. Everything tasted wonderful. It was our first time trying it, everyone was nice from the host stand to our waiter. Our waiter recommended a few things for us to try and they were all delicious.

Our server was excellent! He was personable, happy, and friendly. The menu was large and everyone easily found multiple things to order. Spicy tuna taco app was great. miso soup and teriyaki chicken were good too!

I have wanted to go here for years and today I was nearby and they had openings. After hearing how cool this place was the first floor was run down, lacking vibes and looked not it’s best - but I was still excited. We ordered drinks and the drink that arrived wasn’t matching what the menu said so they server did take it back but seemed reluctant. No problem as we did get another. The next drink was $15 for the smallest cocktail glass k have ever seen in my life. It was the spicy mango drink and it was almost completely tequila and no spice and no mango flavoring. The skewers were all solid and well priced. The chicken teriyaki was not great - it had white and dark meat after I asked three times about white meat - it was a bit dry and there was hardly any sauce on it, the salad had a drizzle of dressing but mostly was dry and the presentation was awful. The white rice for my friend was moist and perfect but my white rice was hard in spots, clumpy and not good. To make up for the lack of sauce on the chicken and the dryness of the chicken and rice I asked for more sauce and was charged $1 for something that should have come right in the first place. The server was nice but most questions we asked he didn’t seem to know the menu and had to ask for answers and only seemed half sure of the answers. He may have been new? In general this was such a disappointing experience for a place I heard so much about and it honestly was one of worst meals I have had during the entire pandemic. And it was only compounded with a slap in face of being charged extra for sauce that should have been included in the first place. Maybe they were having a bad day and maybe I’ll try again but not anytime soon. And the vibe and run down first floor isn’t making me want to run back.

The service was really good and attentive. The drinks and food were delicious. We spent a LONG time at the table and never felt rushed. ( the drinks counties to flow after dinner) good music and interior. Bathroom situation left something to be desired, but I wasn’t there for the bathroom, so…

The sushi was great, just a little expensive for what you're getting. I'd expect to pay $18 for rolls with lobster, but that was not the case. And a ton of imitation crab, which we omitted.

We got lucky and snagged a spot on Valentine’s Day at a great time. When we got there, we were the only few people which was amazing. Was only loud due to music which we didn’t mind at all, seeing it is a karaoke bar as well. Everyone was extremely nice, we were greeted and sat immediately and the food came out so quick! The portions were a little smaller which was great for us, but stating for others to know. As we left, everyone bid us goodbye so overall it had a great atmosphere.

This is my new favorite restaurant!!! We were greeted with a warm welcome from the time we entered to the time we left! The food!!! The food!!! The food was absolutely amazing! The sushi was fresh and flavorful. The Bento box was the perfect amount of everything. And to top it off the whiskey flight is a must have!!!!

Our waiter was very nice, but not knowledgeable about the menu and very slow/forgetful. Our drinks we made incorrectly (although, the wine pour is very generous). Additionally, the sushi is very basic. I would not recommend if you’re trying to have a good sushi night.

Do not come here if you are looking for quality sushi. The rolls were tiny, poorly constructed & contained very little fish. Certainly lazy, maybe they are under hard times and cutting costs by serving, at best, mediocre sushi. Hard to say. Definitely look elsewhere.

Certainly lived up to its hype. Tried the ribeye, lamb, pork belly, and quail bacon yakitori. All flavorful except the quail bacon. Tried the guava agua Fresca. It was too sweet. Service was exceptional. Thankful to front staff who accommodated my ever changing schedule.
