Here, we believe food brings people together. Our menu blends the flavors of Chef Eduardo Rodriguez’s roots in Zacatecas with the ingredients and spirit of Santa Fe. The result is food that feels both familiar and new—made to be enjoyed in good company.

Since opening, Zacatlán has been honored by the James Beard Foundation, first as Best New Restaurant and most recently with Chef Rodriguez’s nomination for Best Chef: Southwest. For us, these recognitions are a reflection of the care we put into every dish and every guest experience.

Exceptional!!! Chef Rodriquez and his staff are at the top of their game. Each dish was visually stunning and gave meaning to the phrase “first you taste with your eyes”. The visual cues were exceeded by the textures and flavors of each dish. Squash blossoms stuffed with cream cheese and crabmeat, bone marrow with equites, duroc pork belly, carnitas and a passion fruit gazpacho that was Amazing were just for starters !!! A special that evening was a tenderloin of Elk with Demi glace that was beautifully rich and tender. The lobster Mac and cheese was not just pasta and some bits of lobster…it had whole grilled lobster tails. The Branzino al Pastor was the whole fish, filleted in a wonderful sauce. The only disappointment was that we were so well served we had no room left for desserts, all of which sounded wonderful. James Beard committee got it right Best Restaurant, Best Chef. Best culinary experience in Santa Fe

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The menu is inventive, yet keeping to its roots. Our server, Jose, was especially attentive and suggested an excellent wine for our dinner. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. We look forward to our next visit.
