Good for business meals

Italian restaurant chain Zizzi opened the doors of its very first branch in London's Chiswick in 1999. Now there are over 100 branches, all decorated in an appealing contemporary style. Wood-fired ovens, open kitchens and modern interior design with locally influenced art features make for a vibrant atmosphere. As for the food, they serve up a variety of traditional Italian dishes including all the usual suspects: salads, antipasti, pasta, pizza, calzone, risotto as well as fish and meat mains and desserts. What Zizzi really pride themselves on is sourcing good quality ingredients; salads are dressed with white balsamic vinegar from Modena, for example, and offer Goddess Olives, a variety known for their firm flesh and nutty flavour. The modestly priced wine list is dominated by Italian wines, starting at £13.45 for a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Windsor's Zizzi is practically in the shadow of the Queen's town residence, Windsor Castle. It's also conveniently located for shopping and the

Staff were very friendly and attentive. However, pizza and pasta were worse than pre-prepared ones you can buy from a supermarket. Toilet facilities require cleaning and regular checking (the smell was noticeable in the dining room!)

Great service. They didn’t have our booking when we arrived but it wasn’t a problem even though they were busy. Service throughout was great and the usual good quality / value food from Zizzi. The waiter interacted really well with the kids.

Had a lovely late night bite at Zizzi’s. Quaint restaurant with delicious pizza and warm, friendly service. The server even helped me find an outlet to charge my phone! Wonderful!

A good evening overall. We were seated almost immediately, Initially we were led to a table in the basement seating area but we asked for another table as the stairs leading to the were a bit steep and narrow and my partner was struggling with them. The request was accommodated without any fuss even though it was busy evening. We wanted to order of the valentines menu but one of the mains item was out not available so the we had to ask for the manager if we could substitute for with an item from the a la carte menu, again this request was accommodated with a little bit of fuss. It was a busy night so noise levels were high but that was to be expected and the food took a little while longer to arrive but was hot and fresh.
