The deep channel buoy, R10, is known amongst local boaters, paddlers and seafarers of all kinds (especially the seal variety) as a meeting spot. Named after this buoy located just off the Redondo Harbor, our 90-seat neighborhood joint is a new American social house offering market driven food, well-crafted cocktails and a selection of intriguing, affordable wines. In a setting of reclaimed chic with nautical nods, locals can meet up for a quick bite or linger over a meal with friends and family while taking in the scenic waterfront views. Southern California affords us the luxury of diversity, and so we are able to select farm produce that may have a brief season and that we can use at their peak. Our menu showcases impeccably sourced ingredients from local farms with high standards of sustainability and organic cultivation. The food was mediocre, but service was the biggest issue. Took quite awhile to get out drink orders, then another 10-15 minutes after that to get our bar items served. Then part of our order didn’t come out on time with the rest of our food; the server blamed the kitchen, but then still charged us even though we had to take the food to go

Great place for a casual brunch or dinner! The open windows along the water-facing side make for excellent people watching and a great vibe. Food is fantastic and well-priced, and the cocktails are always balanced and delicious. Love this restaurant!

The food display was nice but the quality of the meal was poor. Unfortunately it was rather insipid. Hopefully you can get creative and create a memorable meal to bring back customers. Good luck.

One of the best spots at the pier. Amber is amazing and leads an amazing team. We love coming here at least a couple times a month. Almost tried everything on the menu and haven’t found a bad bite yet. I love being on the patio when the weather allows. We bring all our family and friends here when we can. Love love love.

We went here to celebrate Father’s Day for my husband. We had a reservation, were seated, and everything started off okay. Our waitress came over, took our orders, and we got our drinks in a reasonable amount of time. But when it came to the food… that’s where everything went downhill. We waited 45 minutes or more and still never received our food. Meanwhile, we watched other people who were seated after us get their meals before us. I finally had to stop our waitress and ask what was going on, because she never once came to update us. She told us it would be about 5 more minutes… which turned into another 10+ minutes. At that point, we were beyond frustrated. My kids were hungry—we all were. As a family of 5, this was supposed to be a special celebration, and instead it turned into a really disappointing experience. We ended up paying for our drinks and leaving because it just didn’t make sense to keep waiting. Looking back, we were the only Black family there, and I can’t help but feel like that may have played a part in how we were treated. On top of that, the menu was very limited—barely a full page—so if you like variety, this isn’t the place. And there were fewer than 20 people in the restaurant when we arrived, so there’s really no excuse for such a long wait. Overall, we’ve never been treated this poorly at a restaurant. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Think twice before going.

Nice view and solid music act playing. Loudspeakers were about 10dB too loud and improperly eq’d. Food was very good and the service was a tad on the shy side which felt grumpy. Overall a nice night.
