this was my first time here and the food was delicious I had Ramen bowl with pork and it was huge portion and delicious. My friends had pesto chicken sandwich with tater tots to die for. Our server was amazing and friendly. You can sit outside as it is enclosed with great overhead heaters. Cant wait to go back. Really cute atmosphere and great menu for lunch as well as dinner. Will have cocktails next time as well.

Food is not consistent. Sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s ok. Just depends. Very hit or miss.

We celebrated 2 birthdays and the attendant was spot on when he brought dessert topped with candles. Food was good, I liked the "small Plate" choices in particular.

Great place to sit at the bar and have a drink or grab a bit to eat. They’re menu online isn’t up to date so call if you are planning on attending to eat a specific dish.

We had a great time. Server took way long to come attend to our table so the manager was kind and gave us two free apps. Overall a good experience. Service from server could be improved.

We went for their Oktoberfest menu and were not disappointed! The schnitzel was a large portion and well-cooked. The sauerbraten was tender and nicely flavored (although served in chunks). The blaukraut was flavorful, as were the spatzle and pretzel dumpling.
Beer was from Hofbrau Haus and good.
A bit noisy (although it was a football Saturday) and too many children (although it was before 7 PM).
It is definitely a place we will try again (especially in fall and winter when they have a wild boar meatloaf).

Seating outside way too cold. They didn’t turn the heating on until everyone was freezing. Fish and chips was below average with the fish being over-fried in over-used oil (by the taste of it).

Monday’s are very family oriented and my family LOVED it. First off the kids eat free on Monday so the value was outstanding. Second there was a balloon artist on hand that made some amazing balloon animals for my kids. The service was prompt and I love the atmosphere at this O’Tooles. It’s quickly becoming my favorite restaurant in town for pub fare. But to say it’s just pub food would be an understatement. It’s a pretty diverse menu and both my wife and I loved our dishes. She had a salad of some sort and I tried the Korean bowl. It was great. Certainly not something you find everywhere.

Great place. Great food, awesome beer menu and they know how to treat the family to a great dining experience.

Always a nice place to go!
But did not appreciated that we got our starters at the same time as our entrees!
Tables on the patio are really small so was not pleasant.
Asked the waitress if they could guet back with entrée later but she told us that they had no room under the pass anymore....
Was not such a pleasant evening....

I was pleasantly surprised to see that O'Tooles' outdoor area had been redone. We really wanted to be outside, but it was going to rain. However, with the new roof on the patio, it didn't matter! Also, the menu has changed by adding several interesting appetizers and meals. Our server was really nice and helpful, as was the rest of the staff. I've been going to O'Tooles for a long time & will continue to do so.

Disappointed overall. The Charcuterie board (1/2) was scanty and nothing like the previous one I posted on Instagram. I did not post this picture because it looked pretty aweful with a whole dish of mustard (really? whose suppose to eat that? There was more mustard than cheese or charcuterie). The Boar Meatloaf was over salty, not as good as previously. The mashed potatoes were good and the vegetables too salty, but fairly good. I took a friend here to celebrate her birthday because I used to have a good experience. I will not be coming back.

Our food was brought out wrong, we ended up having to pay through another waitress as ours disappeared for a half hour after giving us our check. Food was good though. It seems every time we are their one of our orders is brought incorrectly or not at all what was ordered. This is why we don't go very often. It's really a shame.

We were a tad early but seated right away. Fortunately we did not care to sit outside as it was over 90 degrees, because the outside was full (of crazy people who like it hot :))

Food was good, I enjoyed the Ribeye steak sandwich which came a little rarer than what I consider medium rare, but was still very good and very tender. My side was tator tots and they were quite good.

My cousin had the salmon with quinoa which she also enjoyed very much.

Server was attentive without being too intrusive. She filled up my empty glass of diet without me even asking. Payment was made easy by her quickness as well.

An enjoyable lunch to be sure.

There are a ton of choices for dining in downtown Libertyville and O'Tooles is usually a pretty good choice. I really think they are better for a microbrew with friends than for lunch / dinner. Last time we came in the wife had a craving for fish and chips and I was pretty open to to anything on the menu. The fish batter was pretty salty and my entree was luke warm. Sort of disappointing for a high end pub prices but I don't think it would stop us from stopping in again.
