   Unfortunately, we were running late and notified the maitre d’ ahead. He advised they would be able to seat us no problem. Well…they did. Seat is right away…but clearly at the ‘bad kids’ table…a small NY diner style 2 top directly against the wall. They clearly had no significant number of reservations for the evening and there were multiple booths available. So the experience with seating was the only issue. Our server, Greg was super nice…the chef, sous chef and runner all stopped by individually throughout the evening to chat. The food was awesome…would definitely go back for the food!…

   A quiet and intimate atmosphere. The rainbow trout and the beet salad was excellent. Greg was a fabulous server. Thank you to the entire staff for making this a memorable experience.

   First time! The online menu isn’t accurate which was disappointing- we had the charcuterie board - a salad - soup and each had three glasses of wine and our bill was $136 which seems very excessive. Probably will not return because of that.

   Went to the Keep yesterday 6/4/22 and it was fabulous. we got Sprouts and a Charcuterie as appetizers. Main courses were Scallops with Risotto for the ladies and Pork chops with Kale for me. Everything was done perfect and will require another visit. Thanks again!!

   Where to begin… We had 90 minutes to dine before a show at Ohio Theater, which should have been sufficient time. I knew we were in for a rough night when it took ten minutes for a vodka soda from the bar and another 35 minutes for charcuterie. 40 minutes after we were seated our waitress, who was seldom seen, took our entree order. When it still wasn’t out 40 minutes later, we had to cancel the order entirely and tab out due to time. Our server was rather unapologetic. So instead of short rib and scallops, we ate m&ms for dinner from the concessions at the theater. The charcuterie was lovely, so I’m quite disappointed we didn’t get to try the food. Maybe next time I have three hours to devote to a two course meal, I’ll return.

   They were out of Falafel, Shrimp Cocktail and Shrimp Linguine. Our reservation was at 6PM, so it was a bit early to be out of several things. Also, service was slow when we were waiting for our kebabs and they ended up comping them which was appreciated. The kebabs were okay but nothing special, so I am glad it was not $24 for the two sticks. We enjoyed the drinks more than the food.

   Party of four w reservations. Arrived 1:45 before a show. Food took 90 mins to arrive. Had to eat in 5 mins. Server tried his best but not his fault. Struggling w labor like everyone else. GM apologized but offered no concessions or reason to return. Food was good but Disappointed.

    Steaks and fries were cold, we had to flag our waiter down for water and to acquire about the status of our order (took over 40 minutes to get cold steak and fries). Never had the opportunity to order a second round of drinks. Overall the service was subpar and very disappointed.

    This restaurant came highly recommended for brunch - we were very disappointed. The service was very slow and the food was average at best. We had to ask multiple times for food that should have already been served. One of our entrees was incorrect and had to be remade. Our bill was incorrect. We will not be going back.

    Our party of 4 had reservations. We arrived on time 5:00, the dining room was empty. We were sat at a table with chairs but noticed some booths (there were 4 booths close to our table.) We asked if we could sit at the booth instead... the maître d' was completely put out by this?!? We stood around a good 10 minutes before he would acquiesce. I was appalled. Horrible Horrible customer service. Our server was attentive but not warm and fuzzy. We got our drinks quickly and our food as well. At this point in ordering dinner, we were probably one of 4 tables...in the entire dining room. Our food was sub par. Specifically a steak that was a horrible cut of meat and my fish was not good (arctic char.) We paid over $300 for our dinner and drinks and I would rate the quality and taste at a one star if that! It was NOT good. When we left (7:00) none of the booths had patrons sitting in them. Maybe the maître d' only allows a specific clientele to sit at the booths and we did not fit the description. We will not be dining here again.

    We had a 7:30 reservation and got seated at 8:00 even though there were a ton of open tables - although most needed cleaned. We order 3 champagnes to celebrate a birthday and 1 was completely flat. We shared an appetizer and salad which were good, but all of the main dishes were poor at best. We noticed about 15 minutes before we got our main dishes that no one was in the kitchen - but it looked like food was sitting under the warming area - and it was, they grabbed our plates from there and served them! We had three entrees - the Korean BBQ chicken, Artic Char, and Steak Frites. The chicken was dry and chewy from being overcooked. The Artic Char was fishy and missing the artichoke hearts and fennel topping that made the dish unique. We told the waiter, but the missing items were not provided, explained, or taken off the bill. The steak and fries had no flavor. And in the middle of our salad course, they turned on bright overhead lighting and started cleaning. It's a shame - we were here a few years ago and it was fabulous.

    Our experience at The Keep was extremely disappointing and we just want others to be wary of the service and management issues. (We never received our dinner so we can’t comment on the food.) We had friends in from out of town to have dinner and see Wicked. We arrived on time and informed the waiter we had tickets to a show that evening. We ordered and received our cocktails (4 people) and then placed our food order 10 minutes after sitting down. This is where things fell apart....35 minutes later we asked the waiter about our salads and he responded “they lost the salad ticket so they should be coming out shortly and I just put in your order for dinner.” Salads arrived 5 minutes later and the waiter returned to the table to inform us that the kitchen lost the dinner order and they were going to “comp” us for the drinks and salads, but our dinner would not be served. We were shocked and couldn’t believe what was happening. The Manager never approached us to explain what had happened so we sought him out before we left the restaurant. There was no apology nor an explanation of what occurred. He said that he was just informed of the situation and couldn’t explain what happened. There was NO attempt to make amends for the error. It was as if he just didn’t care and didn’t take any responsibility for such poor service. We dine out frequently and have NEVER experienced a situation such as this. Needless to say, we aren’t recommending anyone spend their time or money at a restaurant that doesn’t value customer service.

    We always have a great meal at The Keep and keep coming back. Last night however the service was very slow tables that sat and ordered after us received their meals before us. The restaurant was full and busy, which was fabulous to see. Lots of early dinners as there were 3 different arts programs starting at 8. My suggestion is until the kitchen gets fully staffed and trained as with prepandemic, offer a paired down theater menu for early dinners to remove the stress off back of the house and those waiting for their meals to get to the show.

    It took 90 minutes to get 3 meals (& 1 was a salad)…and our wait wasn’t addressed until after 75 minutes. Our waters were filled 1x in 2 hrs and we were never asked if we wanted refills of our adult. bevs (that’s waitressing 101). The pork belly & white beans entree was meh. Very disappointing.

    Service was great, very attentive and timely. They asked if we had theater tickets so they could be sure to meet our time constraints. Would gladly go back. Food was very good. Well prepared and tasty, only issue was my pork was a bit too salty but it was so tender and flavorful that I still enjoyed it.

    It was solid. Food was very good but nothing amazing. Solid. No combo of flavors where one would say-- this is incredible. Just good, well prepared meal. Service was ok, good when present but very slow. My wife's sticky rice was actually cold. Mushroom app excellent. French onion soup was very good.

    We had high hopes for The Keep but the cocktails were weak and the food mediocre. I understand Mother's Day is a busy day and staffing is always a concern these days, but for the money I had hoped for better.

    Truly horrible service. First of all, I was called repeatedly to confirm my reservation & not once was I informed that there would be a special, limited Mother’s Day menu instead of the brunch I anticipated & was looking forward to as my graduation celebration. We ordered two bottles of sparkling wine for our table & the server literally just sat them down on the table without a word. She did not offer a taste, nor did she open a single bottle until we asked her to do so. She did not even offer to pour our wine for us. She left the table before we could finish ordering our appetizers & so we had to do so in two parts. At the conclusion of our meal, she came to the table & said, “so how many checks is it again?” with so little tact or regard, I was truly appalled. As a former server myself, I would never have treated a table in the manner that we were. Furthermore, significant portions of our food was cold. The only saving grace was the the rosemary chicken itself was very tasty. The rest of the plate was cold & lacked seasoning. I’m very disappointed as I selected this restaurant because I had previously had a pleasant experience but I after today I have no desire to ever return. For a $30+ plate, I expect to be treated much better than this.

    We loved the bar! We had cocktails before dinner, and again after the show at The Palace. The bartenders were personable and and professional - the service was great! It's a very comfortable and classy bar. Our dinner was amazing! We were seated at the time of our reservation and our server was just the best. Again, very friendly and professional service. ( I wish I could remember her name.) We had the ribeye steaks which were absolutely delicious and grilled perfectly. We really loved that peppery rub. I also requested a table in a more "private" area if possible when I made the reservation and we were seated at a cozy booth in the back. A great experience! We'll definitely be back.

    The food was excellent! Unfortunately, they were out of two things I tried to order (a drink off their cocktail menu - I forget the name of it and the bubbling cheddar dip from their appetizer menu). We ordered the muscles for an appetizer and I could not believe how many we got and how big they were. Our server, Silence, was great. My entree was the Korean bbq chicken and the pieces of chicken were huge and really good. We were seated at a table near the very back of the restaurant and able to see them prepare the food which was neat, BUT maybe due to the sun blazing in the window right next to us and being close to the open kitchen, we were very hot during our meal. Definitely would not stop us from returning though.

    LOVE LOVE it! Amazing food and excellent service. First time here, would absolutely come back and absolutely recommend. Great menu; quality and freshness are clearly paramount here. Loved the hot jalapeño/bacon/cheese app and the wedge salad was a must, entrees we tried burgers and short rib manicotti and both incredible. Dessert: cheesecake and buckeye trifle. All of it I would order again.

    The server (Greg) was great as can. Very apologetic for the kitchen that did not understand well done for a single cheese burger. Not double burgers that is on the menu. I had to send it back multiple times. Finally, the tasteless mac n’ cheese took it’s place. I maintained being polite because it was not his fault. I could not understand why the cooks could not cook one single burger to the point of “no blood” and “no pink”. First and last time.

    Not a good experience. Disappointing overall but it’s always just “okay”. It really could be so much better! Staff was sloppy; sloppily dressed, no one smiled or was courteous, bar was filthy. Couple of seats opened after someone left and the bartender never even cleared or wiped down. It wasn’t even that busy. Our server had a major chip on his shoulder, came to the table and all he had to say were all of the many things they were out of. It was such a negative start to dinner. He was kind of rude the whole time, never even smiled. We tried to make some light jokes and he wasn’t interested. I’ve been here a handful of times and it’s never great, but I think this is the last time. I’m sorry to give a poor review, but honestly they probably need to hear it.

    I was a little disappointed in the experience we stayed in hotel laveque and it was wonderful. We expected the restaurant to be on par with the hotel. We were extremely close to tables next to us. The hush puppies were great but the perogies were almost inedible. They were so overcooked that they were inedible. The waiter kept forgetting us. They were out of at least 25% of the menu. Really disappointed with the food.

    My wife and I had the deviled eggs and Brussels sprouts to start. Both very good. We each tried a traditional cocktail. I enjoyed the Sage & Honey. I got the Korean BBQ chicken as the main and my wife had thr pork shank. I was mad I left the second piece of chicken in the hotel room upstairs when we checked out the next day as it was very good with the sticky rice. But it was also two servings worth of food. The pork shank was amazing. Great flavor, very tender. Only issue with the experience is that the manager sat on the pork shank waiting for my chicken and it cooled off. We were sat right in front of the open kitchen and could see it all happening. On the third attempt my wife got it at correct temperature and all was well. We should have had dessert, because it was all gone later that night. I would definitely go back. Restaurants just need to start bringing food out when it's ready. We want hot food more than we want food at the same time.
