Sadly, the restaurant did not live up to the hype. The service was rushed. Our server was inexperienced. And, the food was just not that special. Strangely, the bathrooms are situated at the center of the restaurant and are open to several tables, one of which was mine.

Enjoyed an outstanding meal at Rosetta. The restaurant itself is lovely from the interior tree’s to the table settings.
Everything we tried was amazing. Among our favorites was a delicious beet risotto with radicchio and a cheese from Chiapas. Also loved the corn tamal with celery root and smoker butter. Both were unlike anything i ever tasted.
Look forward to a return visit.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Beautiful building. Great service, a little too quick, would have liked a little pacing between dishes. Split our shard dishes, which was nice, felt like a 5 course meal.

Un lugar muy lindo en el corazón de La Roma. Dispuestos a ofrecer opciones vegetarianas y veganas aunque no estaban en la carta de ese día. Podrían incluir más de estas opciones saludables como sugerencia. Una muy buena experiencia en general, el jugo de toronja con pimienta rosa delicioso.

Rosetta is a very charming restaurant in the Roma district of Mexico City, with excellent food and a very attentive wait staff. Would highly recommend! Try Blanco Castelar next door for after-dinner drinks.

La comida estuvo deliciosa. Las entradas la verdad un poco chicas y sin chiste pero los platos pricipales todos riquisimos. Se tardaron bastante en traer los platos principales pero sino el servicio muy bueno . No se pueden perder los postres

La comida es tan buena como puede esperarse de un restaurante que tiene tanta fama. El helado de Romero es insuperable, de hecho nos comimos dos. Lo único desagradable fue la llegada, después de haber reservado con 10 días de anticipación la mesa que nos asignaron creo que era la peor del restaurante: en la mera entrada, el espacio sumamente reducido, enfrente de la cocina fría con los meseros pasando y pasando. Una buena parte de disfrutar una cena es el ambiente del restaurante y en este caso no fue así. La persona que nos recibió al decirle que no me gustaba la mesa fue un tanto ruda al responderme que estaba todo lleno, de hecho llegamos un poco antes y seguro tenía alternativas como invitarme a esperar unos minutos para asignarme una mesa mejor ubicada. También vale mencionar que posteriormente ella misma fue muy amable al conseguirme un medicamento que necesitaba.
Creo que esa mesa y la de al lado salen sobrando para dar mayor comodidad a los clientes. Para rematar el vino que pedí ya no lo tenían y tuvimos que conformarnos con otra opción menos buena o aceptar otra mucho más cara. Tenía grandes expectativas en el restaurante, ahora no estoy seguro de regresar. De cualquier manera nada de esos inconvenientes cambió nuestro estado de ánimo y las ganas de pasarla bien.

La comida deliciosa, las porciones son muy pequeñas.
El lugar es lindo, pero incómodo.
Hay que perseguir a los meseros para que te atiendan y la actitud no es siempre tan amable como esperarías para lo que cuesta.

The ambiance is very nice and the restaurant was beautiful. The waitstaff seemed untrained in the menu and were much less attentive than every other restaurant we visited in Mexico City. The food was ok- the best dish was the scallops. I would go again for a glass of wine and the scallops since the setting is so nice, but I wouldn’t recommend a full dinner there.

En un prinicipio, me pareció el servicio un poco lento. El pan que ponen en la mesa es excelente. La comida muy buena, las berenjenas de entrada estaban muy bien cocinadas y acompañadas por lentejas. La porción del short rib me pareció vasta, pero de muy buen sabor. El postre de mamey muy bueno. En general, una muy buena experiencia.

Perhaps one of the very best experience I’ve had this year so far.
Restaurante Rosetta is a temple of soul food. Every preparation is technically perfect, the “simple” Ricotta Ravioli is a demonstration of craft and technique with layers of flavors and a complexity that is out of this world.
Elena Raygada´s restaurant is, in my perception, an absolute reflection of her. I know her a little bit but what I feel when I am in Rosetta is that, what you eat is a total reflection of Elena.
The purity of flavors, the quality of the ingredients (all perfectly ripe and at perfect serving temperature) is absolutely spot on.

This is food from the soul.
Elena is not lying nor bullshitting.
She is doing exactly who she is.
A Perfect experience.

The wine program is short but it’s perfect. You don’t need nothing more. Well, I’ll love more Beaujolais but besides that, total spot on. Having a bottle of Gruner from Knoll with this lunch was the cherry on top.

Fuimos mi novia y yo, pedimos el filete de Huachinango y la pasta con pulpo, siento el producto de mar e ingredientes pueden ser mas frescos, de igual manera usar ingredientes adecuados como los que se usan mas comúnmente en costa, pero la recomendación es cuidar que el producto sea lo mas fresco posible si van a ofrecerlo en su menú, pues esto garantiza un sabor y que sea saludable.

Delightful and delicious experience. We were seated upstairs in the first room with 4 tables. Initially I feared that we would be abandoned as all the "action" seemed to be on the first floor, but proved to be unfounded and we almost had a private waiter and busboy. Wonderfully attentive and friendly service. Quiet enough to have an intimate conversation (unlike the first floor where it was more lively.)

The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. Highly recommend the salt encrusted sea bass which was opened and plated tableside. Could not have been better.

Underwhelming. Every dish was bland and portions were insanely small. There's so much good food to be had in Mexico, Rosetta does not compete.

Amazing dining experience through-and-through. The restaurant captures an authentically Mexico City vibe in the old Roma Norte mansion where it is located and through dishes with deep Mexican roots/accents. Definitely worth a visit for the old Mexico City environs and creative, fresh, seasonal dishes.

Amazing! We had a fantastic dinner at Rosetta. I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading some bad reviews but the staff was really attentive and nice. The food was creative and really tasty. Can’t recommend enough! The place is also amazing!

Great food! We ordered a few different dishes and none disappointed! Staff was on top of it ! Never had to ask for more to drink as they were always around and paying attention to what we needed.
