Customer service was great. Food really tasty and really good drinks. I had the mint watermelon margarita 👌🏼 sopa de tortilla and shared enfrijoladas and flan de elote. They have live music a guy was singing really nice songs. I really recommend this place.

We are located next one of the most iconic historical landmark: the Campo Santo Cemetery in Old Town. Inside Tahona, you will be transported to a modern Mexican hacienda designed with hand painted tiles, handmade rope seats, traditionally crafted fabric brought from Oaxaca, hand clayed walls and more.

We really enjoyed the happy hour prices and options. The drinks were delish and so were the tacos. I recommend the birria and the shrimp!

If you're looking for a memorable "event" take the SD downtown ferry across the bay (or park fee) and arrive at the restaurant's threshold to see a well-appointed and colorful Mexican ambiance that feels exciting and relaxing at the same time. The view of the bay and downtown San Diego is unbeatable. We were lucky to visit during the Día de los Muertos (celebration), and every host, hostess, and server was in full costume! It was AMAZING! Our cocktails were refreshing, perfectly crafted, and almost too pretty to sip. I ordered the El Patron sampler with the habanero creme-smothered chilaquiles. It was just delicious. Definitely a "Be-Back". (Don't miss the striking restroom decor. It's so Frida Kahlo bold!

We sat at the bar since we got there ahead of the rest of our lunch party and the bartender on duty was excellent. Recommended a Spanish sparkling wine and we loved it. Hostess came and got us Immediately after our party of 10 arrived and our table was set and waiting for us. Service was excellent as always
