La Jolla
About the restaurant
Named after La Jolla’s popular Open Aire Farmer’s Market, Bistro du Marché allows chef Diot to work closely with farmers to incorporate the finest local flavors into his dishes. Led by Cheffe Amélie Gadoum, Bistro du Marché incorporates quality ingredients and rigorous French technique. Signature dish includes Wild Mushroom Ravioli in Port wine Sauce. One of the specialties: Un Coq au Vin "Ivre de Bourgogne" Organic Chicken Braised in Red Wine Sauce, Yukon Gold Mashed Potato, Carrot, Mushrooms.

Bistro du Marché is based on the culinary concept of “bistronomie”, that emerged in Paris. Bistronomie, is a play on words on the concepts of “bistro” and “gastronomie”. It is a form of French cuisine that emphasizes the blending of haute gastronomic expertise, seasonality, and the traditional “cuisine de terroir” found in bistros across France. The youthfulness of the bistronomie movement has succeeded in reinvigorating French classic cuisine, and raised the bar of traditional French bistros.

It was a perfect day to sit outside. I like coming on Tuesdays because I love their moules frites, their special that day of the week. The service is always exceptional. A pleasant dining experience.

North Park
About the restaurant
French in spirit yet distinctly California, this nouveau brasserie builds on the foundation that has made TRUST Restaurant Group one of the city’s most lauded: cooking over charcoal, vibrant flavors, simple techniques, and a willingness to take risks. The energy inside the restaurant is immediate - refined without feeling formal, polished but never stiff, with an easy sense of grandeur that feels grounded and lived-in. This is North Park, after all.

Delicious! We started at Georgettes upstairs (speakeasy) and enjoyed cocktails. For dinner our group ordered family style to try multiple things. Highly recommend the black cod, steak, tuna crudo, ravioli, and ratatouille. Great dinner

Brought my family here to celebrate Mother’s Day and we did the prix fixe menu that was offered for the occasion. This included a starter, an entree, and a dessert for each person. The food was perfect! We were a party of 4 and each of us had something different and it was all very good - no notes on any of the 12 different dishes we had! The service was great from door to table. Server suggested seasonal cocktail, Spa Day, and I loved it. Refreshing and light to go with our brunch. Would definitely recommend for any special occasion or just a meal with family and/or friends.

We chose Fleurette for our anniversary dinner because my wife and I spent our honeymoon in France, and this restaurant absolutely delivered an experience that brought those memories rushing back. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt elegant, intimate, and thoughtfully curated without ever feeling pretentious. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff made the evening feel special without being overbearing, and the pacing of the dinner was perfect for a relaxing celebration. What stood out most was how complete the experience felt — incredible food, beautiful ambiance, and the kind of attention to detail that makes a restaurant memorable long after the meal is over. Fleurette gave us one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Southern California, and we’ll absolutely be returning. Highly recommend for date nights, anniversaries, or anyone looking for a true elevated dining experience.

Ribeye was perfectly cooked (rare), and spiced to my level. Salad was interesting and actually tasted excellent. Only downside (for me....a pet peeve)...two big carrots. I don't like carrots. But at least they weren't cut up and spread around. And if you do like carrots, then the Ribeye plate will be 10/10. Waiter was EXEEDENGLY knowledgeable regarding the food and wine selection.

I always have an amazing experience dining at Bleu Boheme. This evening was even more spectacular because they had some special items on the menu in honor of Mother's Day weekend. My friend and I shared the lobster pasta and the halibut. They were both so incredibly delicious. The halibut was so fresh and the lobster pasta so decadent! The staff is always friendly and attentive and the restaurant's interior is beautiful.
