The WineSellar remains one of the premier wining and dining locations in San Diego! The menu has a manageable, but varied and creative range of elegant California selections. I loved the amazingly tender and flavorful PEI mussels in smoked tomato sauce were, as well as the plum-sauce-basted half duck. My dining companion loved the salmon salad. Homemade gelato and ice cream are fabulous, as is the churro bread pudding. Of course, the highlight is the highly professional, impersonal staff, led by long-standing waitperson Morro, able assisted by Otto. Well worth a visit for special occasions, or even an evening where you just don’t wanna cook.

Named after La Jolla’s popular Open Aire Farmer’s Market, Bistro du Marché allows chef Diot to work closely with farmers to incorporate the finest local flavors into his dishes. Led by Cheffe Amélie Gadoum, Bistro du Marché incorporates quality ingredients and rigorous French technique. Signature dish includes Wild Mushroom Ravioli in Port wine Sauce. One of the specialties: Un Coq au Vin "Ivre de Bourgogne" Organic Chicken Braised in Red Wine Sauce, Yukon Gold Mashed Potato, Carrot, Mushrooms.

Bistro du Marché is based on the culinary concept of “bistronomie”, that emerged in Paris. Bistronomie, is a play on words on the concepts of “bistro” and “gastronomie”. It is a form of French cuisine that emphasizes the blending of haute gastronomic expertise, seasonality, and the traditional “cuisine de terroir” found in bistros across France. The youthfulness of the bistronomie movement has succeeded in reinvigorating French classic cuisine, and raised the bar of traditional French bistros.

Wonderful French food and a wonderful waiter from Paris! We felt like we traveled to France for the evening. We also loved that it felt like a hidden gem that locals go to.

We have been going to Blue Boheme almost every week for two years. I never once have been disappointed in my meal! I've never been to a restaurant that is so consistently marvelous. I love the Tuna special with the mixed veggies and, the Brussel sprouts done just how I like them. Who knew french food could be so healthy? My fiancee' loved the new touch of short rib added to the french onion. How can perfect get better? Well it did. The service is beyond compare. Everyone there is so welcoming. Best restaurant ever!

Salmon was awful. Like something from a box. Salty and deep fried or something not a filet. I could barely eat it. However with friends you don’t make a fuss. Lovely place, good service. Horrible meal. Unbelievable. This is a gem but that meal should never have left the kitchen.
