Pao boldly reflects celebrated chef Paul Qui’s renowned brand of modern Asian cuisine drawing from his background and range of international styles, including Filipino, Spanish, Japanese, and French. This is my third visit to PAO, and although it is on the pricier side, the overall experience is well worth it. The flavors and uniqueness of the dishes rank among the best I've encountered.

I'm a foodie--and I promise you will not be disappointed with this restaurant. It's one of the best in all of Miami. The meals are an insanely creative spin on traditional Japanese food. For dessert last time I was there (which is often!) I had a caramel fish sauce on tamarind cake and it was out of this world. Kojin also has a fun vinyl night at least once a week--great sounds but the music (gratefully!) does not overpower your conversation. The restaurant is chilly though--so bring a sweater or jacket!

Great dinner at Toku. We had the Shrimp Pao and pork fried rice, both solid choices. But the highlight was definitely the South Beach roll: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Stylish atmosphere and attentive service. Will be back.

Under one roof, guests are invited to marvel at Biscayne's blossoming Mimo District; embrace 90's hip-hop, street-cool music; and enjoy Cesar's version of Viet- Cajun cuisine - a lively mash up of fresh and colorful Vietnamese ingredients pumped up with spicy, bold Cajun flavors. This grown up version of Phuc Yea is largely seafood driven.

Brunch features a dim sum style menu that highlights classic American brunch preparations. It is at brunch, Chef Zapata will feature his Gulf and Southern influences more prominently while still integrating Vietnamese breakfast tradition.

Shokudo is an Asian Bistro restaurant celebrating our 11th year anniversary with a special discounted menu until August 31st, 2023, brought to you by the people behind South Beach’s long-standing favorite Toni's Sushi Bar of South Beach and the hit ramen restaurant, Shimuja, located in Davie.

Translated from Japanese as "the path to good food," Shokudo specializes in providing a broad range of comfort food favorites from across Asia such as Sushi, Ramen, Kalbi, Pho, and an array of other cross-cultural dishes. With over 25 years of experience in Miami, Shokudo brings the best of Asian cuisine to the Buena Vista neighborhood, located just steps from Miami’s Design District. The restaurant boasts an open kitchen; a modern, bright interior design; a serene outdoor covered patio; and a full bar.

We are currently open for indoor/outdoor dining, takeout and delivery seven days a week from 5 to 10:30p.m. Be sure to visit us during Happy Hour, offered daily from 5 to 7:00p.m

Shokudo is a lovely place, the staff is really humble and sweet. As the old saying goes first impressions are the best impressions and Shokudo has made an impression on our dining experience. Came for dinner and the food was super fresh, great tasting and flavorful. A-MA-ZING!!! Dinner was reasonably priced for what you get! Shokudo has a cozy vibe to it and we will definitely be back!!

Chef Director Björn Weissgerber serves a diverse menu inspired by the Oceans of Asia, with a particular focus on Japan – sushi, sashimi, tiradito, tempura and robata. This was a great wonderful Easter brunch experience and our first time here. We all loved the selection of food (there is something for everyone), the live jazz band, service, and quality for the price - I highly recommend for a weekend or holiday brunch, worth every penny!
