We had a nice post-hike visit to Cork County Wine Pub. The menu included a good selection of interesting dishes. The prices were reasonable. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was really good. Well prepared and served hot. Biscuits were warm, delicious and large. Great experience!

Lovely atmosphere in their outdoor dining area on a lovely evening. Food was awesome and copious. The server, although completely pleasant, seemed harried and food service took a long time, with long gaps between drinks and appetizers as well as between appetizers and entree's. There also seemed to be general confusion about what sides were and were not available. Would still consider coming back, however.

It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years.

Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well. Our team has worked hard to connect to our community, and we value our customers. The food was delicious and the staff were very nice! We loved the ambiance and sat on the semi outdoor area which was nice. The waitress did my order wrong but I didn't hold it against it, I understood where the miscommunication was. I forgot to take pics but we got the OG pancakes, the brisket sandwich (I asked for the brisket hash though), the corned beef & chorizo skillet. For a drink I got a mocktail with kiwi chunks in it, DELICIOUS! We will be back!
