Located just a few minutes from downtown in architecturally rich Monte Vista neighborhood, La Fonda on Main is the oldest Mexican food restaurant in San Antonio. La Fonda serves both the best of Tex-Mex cuisine as well as authentic dishes of interior Mexico in a fun and casual setting with beautiful patio dining. We're open 7 days a week offering our full menu as well as family meals and catering options on curbside. Happy Hour is Monday-Thursday from 3pm-6pm. We offer a full bar with a wide variety of liquor, beer and wine. Saturday's and Sunday's we serve brunch from 10:00am-3:00pm. Our fabulous margaritas are made with hand-squeezed limes and your choice of a large selection of tequilas and mezcals. Our famous patio is heated from the ground up for chilly nights under the stars and lights in the trees.

Our verdant succulent gardens welcome you as you enter the restaurant, with the iconic Tower of the America's in the distance. The cozy dining room and twenty six foot bar are framed by a floating botanical spice illuminated with soft lights. The Danish wishbone chairs, steel accents and warm wood tones are juxtaposed against minimalist art, custom concrete tiles, natural pigments, and uniquely sourced ceramics from Latin America and Asia. Led by acclaimed chef, Elizabeth Johnson, who helped the City of San Antonio receive a UNESCO City of Gastronomy designation. Pharm Table is an mecca for healthful farm to table cuisine. Removing inflammatory ingredients like wheat, dairy, refined sugar and processed foods, the restaurant focuses instead on fresh farm produce and meats carefully sourced from regenerative farmers. The "party favor" is how you feel once you enjoyed the restaurant's apothecary approach to food and beverage. Provecho!

We had a truly delightful first-time experience at Pharm Table for Mother’s Day brunch. Dining outdoors was a treat—the weather was beautiful, and while the sun was a bit strong at times, the attentive staff kindly adjusted an umbrella to keep us comfortable. The three-course brunch was absolutely delicious—each dish thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The short ribs were a standout and definitely something I’ll be returning for! A special shoutout to our server, Nate M, who made our experience even more enjoyable with his warm hospitality, great recommendations, and exceptional service. Thanks to the entire team at Pharm Table for making our celebration so memorable!

My friends and I had a wonderful time at brunch. The server Debbie and the manager Jason were exceptional. This is my third visit and my most enjoyable. The atmosphere and vibe were both enjoyable.

Fantastic experience. Extremely knowledgeable bartender, extensive spirits menu, great ambience. We were hoping to sit outside but there was a random storm passing through and we were glad to end up sitting at the inside bar!
