Join us in our cozy, European style cocktail bar or on our vibrant patio for great food, amazing cocktails, attentive service and awesome music. Located in the heart of Downtown Dartmouth on Portland Street, we are steps away from the Dartmouth Waterfront and Alderney Ferry Terminal. Our small plate food menu showcases Chef Bradley George's take on fresh Nova Scotian seafood and cured meats, as well as small plates with Asian and Spanish influences. Our bar team features some of the best the country has to offer; always creating new flavours and perfecting classics. Exceptional service in a relaxing atmosphere. Hard to choose a cocktail with all the great options. The Shamone cocktail was amazing. The food was truly one of the best meals I have ever experienced. I highly recommend Dear Friend.

This Moxies location never fails to provide good food in a great environment. The staff is always welcoming and gracious. Something for everyone on the menu but I find the steaks and potstickers to be especially good. The barista mixes a fine cocktail as well.

Food was very good overall. Not a fan of a few things (bao, dumplings). So many other things were great though - wings, cauliflower, egg fried rice. Nice of them to give a complimentary dessert for a long wait.

I made reservations on Open Table but the restaurant greeter seemed a bit confused when we arrived. After a brief wait they found us a table. Service was quick. Really quick, like they wanted to move us through. Started with a cocktail and appys and main course arrived before we could order a glass of wine. They were able to advise and accommodate us for menu selections in regards to my wife's food allergies. Appetizers and main course were fresh seafood and beautifully prepared. The Sea Smoke cocktail was delicious.
