Seated immediately on arrival and service was extremely swift. A varied and well-balanced menu with plenty to suit all tastes, fish and meat dishes not all just carb-based. Food was delivered promptly and both courses were hot not tepid. Both courses were cooked perfectly, nothing overdone. Tried the now-in-season asparagus (in butter) and it was delicious...tender, sweet and cooked absolutely perfectly. Dessert of the day was strawberrry cheesecake which was imaginatively served in a glass with ice cream, and was totally delicious not overtly sweet. For a late afternoon on a Saturday, the place was already busy and by the time we left for our next engagement early evening, was full so tables are turned swiftly. A great find and would return in a heartbeat when in the area again.

Welcome to The Wee Choo-Choo – Pitlochry's most unique and exciting dining experience!
Step aboard our beautifully restored Norwegian railway carriage. Our Daughter-and-Mother team owns and operates the restaurant Mia and Isara McCallum from South Thailand.
Due to the unique nature of our restaurant, our kitchen is compact and operated by a single chef. For larger parties, we kindly ask that reservations are made by email via our website. For group bookings, dishes will be served as they are ready. Our hot plates can hold only two to three dishes at a time, so meals may arrive at slightly different intervals.
A 15% compulsory service charge will be added to the bill for all groups of five or more guests.
We operate a 15-minute grace period for all reservations. If your full party has not arrived within 15 minutes of your scheduled time, we may be unable to hold the table due to limited seating.
Please note that we have a minimum spend policy of £25 per person

A Greek owned and managed restaurant with a wide range of menu choices that adds something new and refreshing to Perth's restaurant scene. Personal, close supervision by the owner, who also engages positively with her customers, maintains high standards in food and service. Had a delicious lunch sitting outside at the Red Herring. Our server was very attentive and friendly and the food plentiful and tasty. It was a beautifully sunny day so sitting outside was such a pleasure and pleasant.
