This little gem is an absolute find. Book early, and whatever you expect, you will experience food and ambience beyond that. The majority of our family is coeliac, with one of us having such an extensive list of allergies that we rarely get to dine out. Such a beautiful effort was made to find an alternative for them. Everything was utterly delicious, cosy, comfortable and reminiscent of a delicious warm hug. Do yourself a favour and go here.

Persian cuisine has influenced many world cuisines, and has absorbed elements from other cuisines as well. It's no surprise that Persian ingredients such as saffron, pomegranate have made their way into other cuisines! As ancient traders took their wares to the corners of the world, they traded goods, bringing back the eating habits and ingredients from Greece, Rome, Turkey, Russia and India. Today's Persian cuisine traces its roots to ancient Persian ingredients and recipes.

I have spent over 60 years travelling the world enjoying many restaurants over that time. My favourite dish right through those years is Pork Belly. Yesterday that dish was available at Green Fields - it was absolutely delicious and probably the best version ever! The other menu choices included good old favourites which were almost most appealing. Service was outstanding.
