As always, Celeste is wonderful in atmosphere, menu, drinks, and service. We are so glad to have a restaurant that accepts reservations and has ample parking. This eatery deserves all of the accolades that it receives!

Enjoy a three-hour dining experience in one of our cozy seaside igloos. Each igloo is equipped with heaters, a fireplace, and a Bluetooth speaker, making it a comfortable setting for lunch, twilight dining, or dinner throughout the season. However, we recommended dressing in layers during the colder months.

Igloos accommodate 2–8 guests. A $100 igloo rental fee and a $20-per-person credit-card hold apply. If the reservation is canceled a week or less before the date, or if it is not honored, the credit card on file will be charged. The charge is $20-per-person. Igloo assignments are made by the restaurant, and guests may not select a specific igloo.

Please note that igloo reservations are weather dependent. In the event of severe weather, the restaurant may need to modify or cancel the reservation.

It was a great lunch experience that was novel for our 4 visitors who are not from Narragansett. The igloo’s view, comfort and the fresh air was incredibly enjoyable, as was the service and the food. We were in the igloo that had the western USA theme. What could be improved? The Coast Guard House had told us we can pick/choose the igloo. The reality is that you are assigned an igloo and you have no choice. That was disappointing. The other minor gripe is the table setting. Your food is to be eaten on kneehigh tables. In hindsight, we wished we had ordered a bunch of shareable’s instead of everybody, ordering individual lunch plates and having to eat, bent over and leaning forward. All things considered, I would recommend igloos at the Coast Guard house.

Had a great prime rib dinner! We went early (for sunset dining) and the room was not real busy so the place was unusually quiet, which was a nice bonus, but it was the food, the views, and our waiter who made the experience really, really nice.
