Wow! Just wow! This restaurant is small in size but enormous in every other way! I had the pleasure of dining at Averna tonight for my sisters Birthday dinner! Upon entering the restaurant, my guests and I were immediately greeted by a friendly face and a warm greeting from an older gentleman, I’m sorry his name slipped me (Sam maybe). We were seated promptly and attended to just as swift. Our waiter Nick was amazing! From start to finish he was on point, attentive, jovial, funny and just a pleasure to be around. His table side manners were impeccable and his service was remarkable! Our bartender Era was a dream! She was so sweet and attentive! She Served us well. She even created a special drink just for us, and can I tell you how delicious it was! The food was mouth watering! Appetizers were light and fresh. The main course was incredible! My steak was cooked to perfection, the chicken was tender, the branzino was well seasoned and delicious. The Desserts were to die for! We had no complaints! Everything was great! Our waiter sang beautifully for the birthday girl, he plated our food for us, he took photos for us, he made our night! I genuinely love when I can go to a restaurant and be completely satisfied and this restaurant did just that! I will recommend Averna and my friends and I will be coming back! Nick and Era deserve a promotion or raise, they were that good. They have awesome personalities and are great for the business! The energy in this place is incredible! The Chicken Martini is the best I ever had. Always amazing food, incredible atmosphere and outstanding hospitality. Anthony and his staff are so warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. We LOVE Alessia's!

I love going and every time I do the experience is 10 out of 10. The food is always amazing. You literally can't go wrong no matter what you order and the customer service is second to none. Highly recommend as a to go place is Pelham. Whether it's a catch up with a friend or a date night, you simply can't go wrong. Always a pleasure to go back to this place!

I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. At IL Sorrento, we are embracing old world charm of Southern Italy & bringing it to Westchester County. Our hope is that you will enjoy being at IL Sorrento as much as we will enjoy serving you
