Tiny space with almost no inside seating, but enthusiastic friendly staff. The foot was fantastic. I loved the atmosphere but it is cramped and I tell you all about our neighboring tables conversations. If I lived here I would be back frequently. Three of ate plenty, each had a glass of wine, and the bill was $160.

This is our second time going now. Service again was very good and super attentive. The wine selection is outstanding and honestly overwhelming. We just usually get the flights to be able to sample what they recommend. The flatbread pizza is very tasty with good crunch texture. Will go back again!

Celebrated a birthday party dinner. It was our first time there. Staff was extremely courteous, hard working and welcoming. We shared salumi, vegetable and calamari appetizers, all good. I had the fish special: Livorno style halibut with polenta: Delicious. I recommend this family style restaurant.

Presidio Heights
About the restaurant
Sociale (say - "SO-SHEE-AH-LAY!") was born in the bistros of Florence and raised here in Presidio heights. Laughter and Italian music are heard floating up from the star-lit, heated patio greeting you from the discreet garden alley below. Families and friends leaving the frenetic pace of the city behind can experience a lighter and decidedly more Italian mood celebrating in our new private dining room, the traditional room or on the patio as the irresistible scents of warm pastas, herb-infused meats, and the sweet honey and nut coated sfingi with vanilla bean gelato shake permeate the surrounding space. Bewitching and eclectic wines from Italy and California complement the weekly changing menus that Chef Julio Mis crafts with joy and delight for our neighborhood friends!

Cow Hollow
About the restaurant
Camino Alto is a new Farm to Table restaurant in the Cow Hollow neighborhood. Owner Josh Copeland's idea of serving fresh, seasonal food was born at the height of the pandemic, from his deep desire to bring people together with remarkable food and ambiance that will fill you up in all ways -- clean, unprocessed food with no hidden chemicals. Josh and his team shop at farmers' markets and buy only the highest quality produce, oils, meat and seafood. They believe the best meals start with great farmers, ranchers, roasters, brewers and winemakers who understand Mother Earth and her seasons like few do. You can find deeply flavorful dishes including market salads, seafood, steak (and many great brunch options). Camino Alto is both vegan and GF friendly and the team cheerfully promote the philosophy "Eat what you love. Do it with thought, do it with the season, and whenever you can, do it with others." Now let's eat!
