Redwood City
About the restaurant
As the only waterfront dining experience, with front-row view of the Award-Winning Westpoint Harbor Marina, you will enjoy serene delightful and casual-elegant dining experience in the Redwood City.
Named after the famous and majestic Hurrica V sailboat, the design inspiration of teak wooden walls evoke a sense of warmth and
Executive Chef Justin Baade took his love of 'live-fire' cooking by building a custom hearth offering seafood, steak and vegetables either smoked, grilled or cooked in the embers.
Housing the largest, privately owned jellyfish tank, it's a memorizing experience to see the baby jellyfish upclose and personal.
Take a moment to enjoy the custom artwork from various artists and mediums such as wired fish artwork from the Wirelady, or commissioned mosaic artpiece by Angelina Duckett, even our restrooms are a work of art!
We want our guests to have a unique and immersive experience, no only culinary but visually!

The service, wine selection and food were exceptional. This was the first time we were there and we are definitely going again! The design of the restaurant was beautiful and being on the waterfront, as the sun was setting, was spectacular. If you truly want an exceptional fine dining experience, you must go to Hurrica!

This is a two-part review: one for drinks, and one for food. Great date night spot, or meet up with friends and especially for people not from SF. If you are going for drinks, I definitely recommend RoR as they have a great selection, and their cocktails were really good. 4 out of 5 stars for drinks as I felt the prices were $2-3 overpriced, and the cocktails were a smidge light on the liquor. If you are thinking of going for the food, PASS. I give it a 2 out of 5 stars. - The tuna crudo was decent, but so very basic. - The hamachi crudo was close to inedible, and had a strong fishy smell with some tasteless, pasty white sauce. - The cous cous was interesting, but uneven in flavor profile and could have used some more creativity around it. Also very basic. - The fried chicken and biscuits were way overcooked and so dry. It looked like they were leftovers and re-cooked, and every table's looked that way. For a $240 dinner with drinks for two, I could have spent less and got way more at a number of joints around SF. But, the views—you are paying for them (and getting room-service grade food.) The outdoor area is really well done and stylish with quality furniture and fire pits and propane heaters throughout. High glass walls keep the wind to a minimum. Nice touch. Will go back for drinks and views, but not the food.

Trinidad
About the restaurant
Moonstone Grill, a Trinidadian mainstay, serves fresh seafood and other classic American eats in its beautiful, beachside location. For starters, plates like the crab cakes with sriracha aioli and the lobster wontons with garlic cream make you realize how Moonstone Grill appreciates and respects the local produce and catch. Popular entrée items include the grilled angus ribeye with gorgonzola compound butter, the oven roasted game hen with mushrooms and the wild Alaskan halibut with curry pearl pasta. Moonstone Grill even has sumptuous options for vegans, such as the tempeh pot roast with fingerling potatoes and the wild mushroom ravioli. Not only can you enjoy your delicious Moonstone Grill meal by the sea, but you can also enjoy one of its signature cocktails, like the refreshing Mulin Crops with organic cucumber vodka, fresh lime and sparkly ginger beer.

The Grill is a great place for food before wine tasting at Wente. We sat outside next to the golf course, what a beautiful view. The service was excellent along with the drinks and food. No complaint’s. Would definitely go back.
