About the restaurant
Marino Ristorante is deeply rooted in Hollywood since the late 1950’s when Ciro (Mario to friends) Marino landed in Hollywood and has ever since had generations of who’s who in the movie, record, art, political and business LA community at his tables. Today it is still family owned and given its warm welcome flavor by the second generation of Marinos, Mario in the dining room and brother Sal in the kitchen.

About the restaurant
We are Broken Spirits, a distillery born from a love of forgotten recipes and the desire to create something new from the echoes of the past. Step through our unassuming door and be transported to a bygone era. Our speakeasy-inspired interior is a warm embrace of exposed brick, plush seating, and the gentle hum of conversation. Worn leather-bound recipe books line our shelves, whispering secrets of forgotten cocktails, while vintage lamps cast a romantic glow. Our culinary creations are chef driven and locally sourced. Join us for a meal and stay for a memory.

Don't bring your vegetarian friends here!!!! they have one app, one salad, and 2 sides that don't have meat. For the rest of us it was amazing! Great BBQ and solid value I felt. Mixed drinks with their spirits were also pretty amazing too!

We have eaten here several times and are happy to find it remains welcoming with a good varied menu and decent wines by the glass. We'll return whenever our friend is back in town because its half way between us and near a freeway exit on a quiet block with enough street parking.
