Bar Bravo sits at the very top of my list of favourite restaurants — and it came highly recommended by someone who feels exactly the same way. My first visit was with my husband, and we were so impressed by the ambience, food, and service that we returned last night with our adult children to celebrate our son’s birthday. I only had to look at our son’s face to know he loved every bite. Every dish was exceptional. The staff brought each plate to the table with such care, thoughtfully describing the flavours and the best way to enjoy them, then checking back in a way that felt attentive without ever being overbearing. Our server struck that balance perfectly: warm, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. One of the things I love most about Bar Bravo is the way the entire team takes care of every guest. Someone is always quietly ensuring your water glass is full or that everything is just right. It creates such a seamless, relaxed experience. And the food? Insanely delicious. Truly. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

Some of the freshest seafood I’ve had in Vancouver. The ceviche has great flavour and was just what we needed on a 26 degree weather day. Very excited to come back.

Our menu is full of sustainable, local, and seasonal seafood that highlights the best of British Columbia. Our daily happy hour is from 2pm-6pm. We offer weekday reservations for happy hour, but walk ins are always welcome! Happy Hour is just first come first serve on weekends.

Overall a very enjoyable evening. The service was quite spotty though, especially towards the end of our dinner with one of us having to wait for a beer for 15 to 20 minutes. Will definitely go again and recommend this place. It has lots of buzz.
