Expect house-made Focaccia, Cashew Brie, Arancini, Artichoke Fritti, Baby Gem Salad, Mozzarella Sticks, Rigatoni Bolognese, Meatball Subs and our Vegan Smash Burger, named one of Toronto’s best by Toronto Life.
Weekend brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10am–2:30pm, featuring Eggs Benny, Brioche French Toast, Breakfast Bagels, Fried Oyster Mushroom Sandwiches and Matcha Lattes. Reservations are welcome, with plenty of room for walk-ins.
The dining room pairs warm walnut-finished walls with olive-green banquettes and a welcoming bar—creating a relaxed, contemporary space for lunch, dinner or a drink. Walk-ins are always welcome, and there’s almost always room at the bar.

General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. In terms of vibe, the main floor is ‘everything’s gone green’, with lush comfortable banquette seating, warm wood, and barstools designed for long conversations over many cocktails. Upstairs you’ll find a completely different space that transports you to a peachy 80s dream. Somehow these two halves make perfect sense, and complement each other in a seamless conversation, where neither wins the argument, but you really do have to see it! See you soon!

The gluten free pizza and gluten free Caesar salad were delicious and I experienced zero symptoms. This is the second time I’ve had Parlour and both great experiences. BTW, if there’s a reaction to be had, I’ll have it - but we are all different. The service could do with a little improving. It wasn’t busy and exceptionally slow.

We came as a large party on the patio and we had a great experience, Britney our server was very accommodating and did a great job considering the many people. Would highly recommend.
