We had lunch and a wine tasting at AronHill on a rainy Friday in October and enjoyed it very much. The food was excellent, and the service was great from start to finish. We sat inside, where the room is comfortable and nicely appointed, and the views were still wonderful. The setting is beautiful. The wines were good, though the food was the real highlight for us. We would definitely go back.

About the restaurant
Nicola Restaurant is the vision of Executive Chef Nicola Allegretta. After creating several successful concepts such as Mama's Meatball and Mistura Restaurants in San Luis Obispo, Chef Nicola opened this new project as an homage to the *Bachiche*. In Peru, *Bachiche* refers to the unique combination cuisine born from the blending of Italian and Peruvian culinary traditions. It describes dishes that merge Italian ingredients and techniques with Peruvian flavors—or vice versa—a style that emerged after Italian immigrants, particularly from Genoa, arrived in Peru during the mid-19th century.

At Nicola Restaurant, you’ll discover both the latest trends in Italian and Peruvian cuisine as well as timeless classic dishes.

Wonderful dinner! Great service, great wine list. We had a Bruno Giacosa Roero Arneis, which is rare to find in the States. I had the polenta with soft boiled egg and truffles, and the agnolotti con mais, also wonderful. We sat “outdoors” i the covered front courtyard which was actually nicer than inside as it was pretty noisy in the main dining room.
