This establishment has been a neighborhood favorite for many years. We were fortunate to celebrate our friend's birthday before the restaurant closed its doors for good on 9/26/21!

Wanted a Bloody Mary. Their mix was too spicy so the bartender made one with tomato juice. Just vodka & tomato juice. That’s not a Bloody Mary. I had to request seasonings, worchestire and horseradish to make my own. Used low quality tomato juice. Ordered the crab cake melt with applewood smoked bacon. Sandwich was not grilled. Crabmeat was scant and the bacon near uncooked. Not crispy. $23.00 My father ordered the lobster roll. Menu did not say lobster “salad” roll. But that’s what he received and that was only made with claw meat. No lobster tail meat. 24.00. In the past Sams had only the highest quality of ingredients. My family has been patrons of Sam’s since it opened. Stopped when it changed management and changed menu to have a more Asian lean. Was excited to see the menu returned to more regional cuisine. Best thing today were the French fries and they were cold.

Were looking for a good meal at an enjoyable venue on the water. Sam's is on the water and we enjoyed a pleasant outdoor table overlooking the marina. Our server was wonderful, pleasant, responsive and helpful. The food was just okay with a good appetizer, but entree's that did not quite live up to expectations.

We visited here yesterday for lunch. It was a nice day so we sat outside. Not one employee wore a mask. Service here was unfortunately not the best. The calamari was soaked in oil and the chicken was undercooked. We literally waited for over 30 minutes for our waitress to bring the check. After realizing she just might not return, we walked inside and asked the young lady at the front for our waitress to bring the check. While we were walking to the front, the outdoor bartender (I really wish I had looked at his name) grabbed a bunch of napkins and began sneezing uncontrollably in it. He proceeded to grab more napkins while wiping his hands on his uniform. I was officially grossed out ESPECIALLY considering COVID is live and in full effect going on. Needless to say, our check was almost $70 (definitely was not worth it) and I will never eat here again!!!

Nice restaurant right on the water. Food was excellent. The waiter we had was so so. They added a 20% tip to the bill because it was over $100. We usually tip well over 20% but not this time.

The restaurant was surprisingly empty, even for a Wednesday evening. But we were sat by the window with a wonderful view of the Marina. Both the service and food were excellent. We expect to return.

Young male staff that left a little to be impressed about. (Nick) was cute, but not really concerned about being a server. Scallop and Shrimp salad was recommended, but the greens were tough, old and on the verge of rotting. Interesting signature mocktail with muddled strawberry and seltzer which was quite good. The view over the marina is lovely- that's probably their best quality. Hope the kitchen and staff can rise to better standards. Annapolis needs more fine dining experiences.

It was my first time here and I throughly enjoyed it! The crab melt was wonderful. The Brussels sprouts were to die for. The portion sizes are huge which is nice because I had a ton of leftovers.

Took sons In memory of their Dad. I really wanted it be be special for Father’s Day. The food was salty and the crab cakes had too many shells. I told waitress but she made some excuse….don’t remember what she said. I’ve been to this restaurant a number of times for lunch and have always been satisfied. I was disappointed with the experience.

The food was very good. Shared the calamari app, and I had stuffed shrimp with risotto. The food was luke warm, not hot. The risotto was good but not as tasty as I had hoped. Waitress was very friendly. The atmostphere would have been better with a little music piped in. We sat inside, and it was quiet enough that nearby customers could overhear our conversation, so not very romantic/private. They had live music outside, which was nice, but nothing inside to create a nicer ambiance. I would go back, especially to eat outside with the live music, on a less humid night. Clean, friendly and welcoming overall!
