Not very many people there mid-week, off-season when we went, but still had very good quality food, service. Filet was done just right. very good lemon cake for dessert. This place is probably really hoppin' in season/weekends. Good food, drinks, wine list. Recommend highly! Will be back!

In the past we have dined at 17 several times and enjoyed it..Our last experience was OK for ambiance and wait staff...My entree "Surf & Turf" was not even a small plate, but a minuscule appetizer with 2 small scallops and a 1" piece of pork belly.. No garnish, no vegetables...Yes it was tasty, but not at all what I expected from past experiences...

We decided to try Seventeen based on my sister's recommendation. We were celebrating an anniversary. We arrived to a friendly hostess and door person. Our waitstaff was terrific and very friendly. She made great recommendations from the menu which was helpful. The food was very tasty although a little pricey. The atmosphere was a little loud and made it difficult to hear each other. There was a table with 10 people right next to us who might have had a little too much to drink and were overtly loud. Once they left, the dining room was quiet and enjoyable.

Service was poor. Unfortunately despite asking for a quiet table for an anniversary we were surrounded by a large group of loud drunken egomaniacs. The one waiter outside catered to this group forgetting our drink orders and bringing our appetizer with the main course. Too bad. Nice place. Night ruined. Too many other great places.
