We are a short walk from Camden Yards/Oriole Park & M&T/Ravens Stadium. We are very close to the Convention Center, Downtown & the Inner Harbor.
One of the best restaurants in Baltimore. It’s amazing !
Food and service were outstanding! My son raves about the chicken pot pie and my salmon with bourbon soaked peaches was wonderful.A hidden gem in south Baltimore. Minor problem was no tp in ladies room! Will definitely return ( with tp in my purse-lol!).
Good variety of food options and everything was good!
The food here was incredible.. No one at our table had any complaints about what they ordered. You must try the homemade cinnamon rolls
Great waiter Steve. Food tasty and hot. Nice place. Will return
This is a lovely neighborhood pub, with a limited but tasty menu.
Love this place. Our go to restaurant in the neighborhood!!
A neighborhood gem. Food is always very good. Service is terrific. Great place to have a nice meal at a reasonable price and in a dignified setting.
I’ve gone to sobo before and had a great burger for lunch. This time we came for brunch though and I didn’t like the food much at all. The cinnamon rolls tasted off— cream cheese icing tasted too much like straight up cream cheese and the roll tasted like it had something funky put inside... maybe wine? We also got the chicken pot pie which was good but certainly not worth $20. I have to say that the staff were very kind so no complaints there.
I have been to Sobo Café five times now and each time was even better than the time before! Went with friends this time who also enjoyed it too! Not only is the food fresh and excellently prepared and presented, the entire staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend this outstanding restaurant!
Lucky to have snagged an outdoor table to truly enjoy neighborhood charm! Waitress was helpful with menu recommendations - enjoyed apple brie flatbread and brussel sprouts (goat cheese!) with a wine flight. Beer flight selection could be better, but that is my only criticism. Easy walk from inner harbor during a girls weekend. Would definitely visit again!
Great service and great food. Very accommodating to special dietary needs. We will return when we’re in the area.
Everything everyone had at our table was excellent, the spinach pie, the bahn mi, etc. etc. The honeydew soup and the cheesecake are musts! Lovely place, could easily be called a neighborhood gem but deserves a city-wide reputation.
Took an hour to get the food, but it was worth the wait!!! So much food for the price plus it was DELISH
Excellent brunch! Our table of five ordered different brunch items and we all agreed each dish was excellent ! Cozy, clean atmosphere in fed hill neighborhood near Camden yard and conference center. Very picky foodies .... loved this place and will be sure to return on our next weekend visit to Baltimore!
Highly recommend this cozy and cute neighborhood restaurant. Food was awesome and our server was very friendly with some added humor. Monday night pasta special is also a great deal and super tasty.
It was fine
This has become my family’s favorite spot to meet for Sunday brunch. Get a seat outside if you can to enjoy the weather and a little less of a cramped feeling.
Excellent as always, love their current menu!
As always - an exceptional experience! The food is fantastic and you are genuinely treated as a guest. Cannot recommend more.
I love the NOLA neighborhood vibe of this cafe. Food is not avsnte guard but very good for what it is. Service is very good and vibe friendly. Like I said, this is not a pretentious but a very good neighborhood joint.
A perfect place for date night. The ambience had a casually elegant feel and the decor featured local artists. The food was as tasty as the excellent presentation predicted. Staff was attentive with out being intrusive. An overall great experience in one of Baltimore's premier neighborhoods.
They always treat us like family! It’s a family friendly environment but also great for a date night.
We hosted a brunch for ten 15-16 year olds for my daughter’s sweet 16 at SoBo. The food was excellent and the ambience lovely and with an overall bright and positive air. However, the very best part is the staff. Linda was wonderful and setting everything up. The team on site was thoughtful, proactive, high energy. It was a wonderful experience from start to end. I could not recommend SoBo more highly.
Sobo is a gem in Federal Hill! I appreciate their attention to detail and love to bring family and friends. Great spot for wholesome food!
Met a friend at SoBo cafe for dinner and then brought home some carry-out for my husband. All of our food, even the carry-out (which sat for > an hour bc we were talking for awhile), was DELICIOUS! It was so good that I questioned outloud, several times, why I hadn't been eating at SoBo since the second they opened.
The arugula and gruyere flatbread was heavenly. My burger was one of the best I'd ever eaten, cooked exactly as requested, with fantastic fingerling potatoes. The wine flight was very good and reasonably priced. And the sundae was a traditional Bmore CMP (with a brownie as the "C") with caramel to boot. I will definitely be back!
We went for Mother's Day and had a delicious brunch. I personally really *REALLY* enjoyed the chicken pot pie, and my daughter loved the chocolate chip pancakes.
Everything was exactly right, from when we stepped in the door to when we walked back out. It’s a great welcoming, relaxed vibe there, and we felt taken care of and valued as customers. The food is outstanding! We would love to come back soon!
Great brunch. Smoked Salmon Benedict is my favorite.
Asparagus Soup added to the good brunch experience.
We had a lovely brunch at SoBo. The menu is diverse with unique offerings. Great little place, lovely people, fabulous food. Can't wait to go back!
A neighborhood gem. We meet there monthly for our book club and my husband and I often walk down for dinner as well. Our favorite neighborhood spot by far- local, fresh, great wine, beautiful rotating artists on display!
Excellent food, ambience and service! The pot pie, scallop stew and chicken all great!
Good energy for sure too!
I was at first nervous about the menu - it’s certainly all over the place! Very happy with the spicy feta spread, asparagus soup, roast corvina, and steak. Serving the steak with creamed spinach and roasted fingerling potatoes put it over the top and impossible to resist ordering. Highly recommend!
Always a favorite of ours, we were not disappointed. creative menu, good value (it was a Wednesday Wine night) and very pleasant service. Very Good dinner, and an excellent night out with friends.
Always a great meal when dining at Sobo. So friendly it’s like having a great meal at a good friends house!
One of our party had dined often at SoBo under previous ownership, but none-the-less was pleasantly impressed. I was agog with the adeptness of the staff - professional, stealthy, serve from the right, clear from the left. We will definitely keep SoBo in our brunch rotation.
A warm friendly atmosphere with consistently great food. You can’t go wrong.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere!
Always wonderful dining at SoBo Cafe! Delicious food, great service, cozy environment.
We were bringing a couple who had never been and wanted them to have a wonderful experience. Our waitress was very nice, but inattentive, forgot one of our appetizers and just not too helpful.
My husband got the fettucine and did not like it. Overall, it was very good, but do not know if either couple will come back.
