We are a short walk from Camden Yards/Oriole Park & M&T/Ravens Stadium. We are very close to the Convention Center, Downtown & the Inner Harbor.
We eat here before the Ravens game. Never a disappointment. Very friendly staff and the food is excellent.
Everything was fantastic! I got the honeydew soup (really unusual but tasty), while my husband got a delicious tomato biscuit. The Mac and cheese was pretty wonderful, too. Service was great, I’d love to go back.
We’ve dimes at this restaurant in the past and loved it, this time our food was defiantly lacking. Bummer. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Sobo doesn’t disappoint! Fresh food freshly made - delicious options and friendly service. We are regulars!!
Always a winner. Everything is s fresh. The menu is always changing with wonderful choices for the season. Staff so friendly. Reservation is always held.
Appreciate the vegan restaurant week menu.
Great food, people, and service. Love love love this place
Best restaurant in Baltimore! Best food with great service.
My food was great! Server attentive and pleasant---good with with my child---offering crayons and such
This little café is hidden away but at the same time very close to the downtown hotels, inner Harbor area. The freshness and uniqueness of the food was outstanding and I would most definitely recommend anyone a good meal in Baltimore get there fast!
Good food and friendly service. All the dishes we ordered were tasty - House Smoked Salmon Omelet, Big Breakfast and Chicken Pot Pie. Loved the pancakes that came with the Big Breakfast, so fluffy, will do a separate order of that next time. We had no problem finding parking on Saturday, about a 2 block walk. Would definitely come back.
It was great! A little loud since it was before a Ravens’ game but everyone seemed to be having a good time. We did. Excellent for Restaurant Week and anytime. Do yourself a favor and try their chicken salad for lunch.
SoBo never disappoints. Love the charm and ambiance.
Excellent as always--we live in this neighborhood and dine here often! A coworker of mine had lunch at SoBo while in Baltimore recently and LOVED it, told her it is our "go to" spot in the neighborhood! Also have used their catering service (boxed lunches)...what a hit with my staff!
Can't go wrong at destination = SoBo!
Great, homemade food (especially the complimentary blueberry bread and the fresh cinnamon rolls!) Great ambiance - a good place to take family or catch up with friends.
Went for 2019 restaurant week as their posted menu seemed to be one of the best values
for the price. The $28 dinner was excellent, with a large number of choices and tasty and generous portions all around. Great experience
Not spectacular, but certainly worthy of another visit or two. You do get a hefty amount of food for the price you pay which is great...so, that’s kinda spectacular in its own right, I guess. It reminded me of a European cafe which makes this place a bit more intriguing than your run-of-the-mill places.
Our favorite. Feels like family, best in town. Service, Food, Drinks are sublime. Mike Bloomberg's favorite as well.
The food was outstanding. We ordered scallops and the cajun fish. The food melted in the mouth with each bite. The portions are good and we ate too much. I recommend this place highly!!
Fantastic service, great food and nice atmosphere.
The place is highly recommended!
TOO MANY FLYS INSIDE THE CAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HARD TO ENJOY THE FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The cinnamon roll was soooooo yummy. Additionally, my wife and I both ordered salmon dishes - the omelet and the benedict, and we were satisfied with the selections. The service was prompt. The ambiance was cute and local.
The food and the service were terrific, as usual. But the place is noisy. I use hearing aids and the noise is difficult for me.
This is such a quaint, warm space and I e loved my food each visit. The summer pasta was AMAZING I’m not a balsamic fan, but decided to try it anyway since it was super hot and a veggie based meal sounded perfect. I was pleasantly surprised when the flavors melded so perfectly, not making the balsamic overwhelming. Everyone is friendly, the dining space is small and intimate (in a pretty casual way). I’d definitely recommend
Nice touches on "comfort food", the menu should be something anyone would be happy with. I had the Cajun haddock which was delicious in all aspects. My son had a burger with a fried egg on it and my wife had chicken pot pie which she loved. It is a small place but nice ambiance and the service was friendly and attentive. I wish we were more local to it but if we visit the area again I would return.
The food is always phenomenal and the service is top rate. I have never had a bad experience at SoBo.
One of the best restaurants in Baltimore. It’s amazing !
Food and service were outstanding! My son raves about the chicken pot pie and my salmon with bourbon soaked peaches was wonderful.A hidden gem in south Baltimore. Minor problem was no tp in ladies room! Will definitely return ( with tp in my purse-lol!).
Good variety of food options and everything was good!
The food here was incredible.. No one at our table had any complaints about what they ordered. You must try the homemade cinnamon rolls
Great waiter Steve. Food tasty and hot. Nice place. Will return
This is a lovely neighborhood pub, with a limited but tasty menu.
Love this place. Our go to restaurant in the neighborhood!!
A neighborhood gem. Food is always very good. Service is terrific. Great place to have a nice meal at a reasonable price and in a dignified setting.
I’ve gone to sobo before and had a great burger for lunch. This time we came for brunch though and I didn’t like the food much at all. The cinnamon rolls tasted off— cream cheese icing tasted too much like straight up cream cheese and the roll tasted like it had something funky put inside... maybe wine? We also got the chicken pot pie which was good but certainly not worth $20. I have to say that the staff were very kind so no complaints there.
I have been to Sobo Café five times now and each time was even better than the time before! Went with friends this time who also enjoyed it too! Not only is the food fresh and excellently prepared and presented, the entire staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend this outstanding restaurant!
Lucky to have snagged an outdoor table to truly enjoy neighborhood charm! Waitress was helpful with menu recommendations - enjoyed apple brie flatbread and brussel sprouts (goat cheese!) with a wine flight. Beer flight selection could be better, but that is my only criticism. Easy walk from inner harbor during a girls weekend. Would definitely visit again!
Great service and great food. Very accommodating to special dietary needs. We will return when we’re in the area.
Everything everyone had at our table was excellent, the spinach pie, the bahn mi, etc. etc. The honeydew soup and the cheesecake are musts! Lovely place, could easily be called a neighborhood gem but deserves a city-wide reputation.
Took an hour to get the food, but it was worth the wait!!! So much food for the price plus it was DELISH
