                                                                                        We arrived at the restaurant for our reservation after driving from ny for 4 hours and there was no hostess at the desk. There were no waiters in sight and we waited for 10 mins and then left. Awful

Pappardelle pasta w/ braised short rib very short on flavor, quite bland and not much rib meat. Husband's NY strip was thin and out of freezer, whole plate covered in underwhelming sauce. We don't mind paying for special dinner out, but we expected much more for the prices charged. We will not be returning.

Our food was flavorful, well presented, with our server Chantelle providing excellent service and recommended food selections that were spot on! The restaurant is lovely and we look forward to returning. The outdoor dining looks beautiful to enjoy on a lovely evening.

                                                                                        Sunday breakfast at 9:30 am; had reservation, although wasn't really needed as not very busy. Hostess was very friendly & attentive. Took a long time for server to come to the table to take our order. Another couple was seated outside and got up & left after some time presumably because they appeared to be ready to order for quite some time, but server never came to their table. An hour had past from the time we sat down until the food was served, fortunately we were not in a hurry and we dined outside on a beautiful Sunday morning, which was the best part of the breakfast, otherwise we would have left. Pancakes were the worst I had ever had -they had a vinegar or sour flavor to them- even my husband disliked them & typically is not picky about his food. Homefries & toast were good; eggs were inconsistent-1 runny white & I specifically ordered otherwise, other white was cooked through, but yolk hard. Orange juice was suppose to be freshly squeeze it was not; $6 each...Hostess took 2 OJ's off of bill. Eggs benedict was ok-would have been better with Canadian bacon as opposed to ham. Will try again.

                                                                                        I keep trying Sonoma. It was a busy night and perhaps the chef and crew were overwhelmed. The food was very underwhelming, it was served cold and rather flavorless. I was very disappointed, as I was hosting guests in town. The service, on the other hand, with Timothy, our server, was outstanding. The ambiance is always pleasant, with low noise, so guests can talk without raising their voice level. It’s a beautiful space with a relaxing atmosphere. I’ll try again though, not giving up on Sonoma, as it has its distinct place in the Worcester restaurant scene.
