Great dinner!

The bread is always good... Second time we’ve been here they seat us at the table right next to the kitchen where it’s loud and people coming in and out the whole time. The food was good but nothing special and under salted. Champagne prices were 25% or more higher compared to other restaurants of the same level. Just ok

Went here for an anniversary. Service was top notch! Really romantic setting. Would love to visit again soon.

It was my 23 year anniversary yesterday. Went to restaurant and ordered cocktail, wife had wine. Approximately 30 minutes in my stomach started cramping and not feeling well at all. After arriving home it got worse. Please make sure water is either boiled or bottled because I assume it was the ice. Everything else we shared. Not a great first time experience at this restaurant. 👎🏻

Celebrated Valentines Day here and from start to finish it was a superb experience. Jorge was our waiter and he was very attentive and offered great recommendations. An evening we will not forget.

Took my wife for Valentines day, bread variety was great. Food was tasty but not spectacular. $32 wine bottle that we payed $85 for seems overpriced. Service was ok but had to be requested several times, waiter wasn’t too perceptive of our needs

Sorrento’s is very special. It’s old world elegance, beautifully appointed, fine cuisine, excellent service, ... and, bonus of bonuses, quiet enough to hear the wonderful piano music. This is my favorite restaurant in Houston.

The food was amazing, from the bread basket, appetizers to steak everything was prefect. Eduardo was a very attentive server and made this experience that much better! we will definitely be back.

Waitstaff was very cordial and attentive. We arrived before our reservation time and were able to be seated at our table. This was our first time and definitely not our last, we thoroughly enjoyed it!!!

This is our new favorite place to eat. The atmosphere was as good as it could have been. The lighting was low, the piano playing was soft and we could hold a conversation without yelling but now so quiet that we were worried we were being too loud. The service was what made our visit so great. Our waiter was present the perfect amount of time, there when we needed him and out of site when we didn’t. The food was amazing, there wasn’t anything that we got and didn’t like. The cocktails (old fashioned and lemon drop martini) were perfect!

will be recommending this to everyone this place was amazing and made us feel fancy without being rude to us when we mispronounced everything or didn’t know what forks to use. love this place with all my heart service was amazing. and food was out of this world

It was my husband’s birthday. We were very pleased with the attentive staff. They allowed us to enjoy a relaxing dinner without making us feel rushed. The food was superb. My veal dish was the best I’ve had in a long time. Thank you Sorrento!

Reservations very slow. Seated about 30 mins after reservation time. Food was average at best. I’ve been here in the past and the quality was much better. Perhaps I caught them on a bad night.

Excellent food and service

It was a fantastic experience , from the minute we walk in till we left , the service was outstanding, the food was the best, the chocolate cake Dissert was just okay, although the presingtaion was beautiful. I highly recomend this cozy little restaurant for a date , or small special event.

Wonderful experience. My boyfriend and I went for a date night, and it was so romantic. The service was really what put it over the top. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and helpful. Their attentiveness and hospitality moved our experience from 4 stars to 5! Definitely will return.

Sorrento has been one of our very most favorite restaurants for many years. My companion has dietary issues which everyone at Sorrento is more than happy to comply with. We feel very much like "family" there. We also enjoy the beautiful music that Mark, the pianist, produces. So, to all who would go to Sorrento, "ENJOY!"

What a great Restaurant to have a romantic dinner with your loved one/s and the live piano sets the mode. This is one of our favorite places to eat and we have never had anything on the menu we didn't thoroughly enjoy. We did have for the first time, a chocolate souffle for dessert, and it was over-the-top good, but know you need to order this when you order entrees, since it takes 20 minutes to make. The service as always is impeccable and we can not wait for the next dinner we have there.

Food quality was very bad/tasteless.also the portion was a kid portion. how can you make a steak taste that bad? Service was great, we had to eat bread instead of our food, because all 4 of us were unhappy with our food.

Christmas Eve dinner here is ideal! Always a delicious meal, with a wonderful team of exceptional service. We highly recommend for any occasion.
