Chef Carla (Bevan) Zimmerman is a native of Schuylkill County. After graduating the Pittsburgh Institute of Culinary Art’s with top honors she moved to NYC & trained under Chef Marc Murphy (currently a judge on Iron Chef America). Chef Zimmerman assisted Chef Murphy on Iron Chef America & brought her culinary excellence to 24 hour restaurant battle on several times. Chef returned to her beloved Schuylkill County bringing her special brand of cooking to the “Skook”. Since returning “home” she has wowed us with her culinary skills at both Madeline’s & 4Play Moonshine. Now you can experience her creative & delicious creations at Bum’s Rush Restaurant & Pub.
