We really enjoyed our first visit to Talula's Garden. Everyone was happy with their dinner.
Went here for a brunch date and it was such a great time! Place is decorated nicely and the service was amazing. Everyone was super welcoming and helpful with any questions I had on the menu. Best thing was that we sat inside but still had the outdoor view which was nice. From our beginnings to our brunch entrees, meals were delicious. Good mix of sweet and savory in this experience. Quick note: Valet is available but there is a parking garage about a block and a half away as well. Can't wait to come back next time but this time for dinner. Definitely a place to try out!
We were a group of 6 women (with two reservations) who could not be seated together. The staff first moved three to a table closer to our table, then found banquet seating for all of us.
Our waiter, Eli, was superb.
The meal was delicious and our ability to enjoy each other's company was terrific.
Thanks, again, to the host staff, for putting us together
We had the most wonderful time with friends at Talula’s for brunch! Ariel was an outstanding server! The dishes were delicious, oh those warm cinnamon doughnuts!
Thank you for a wonderful, memorable time!
We had an amazing dinner at Talula’s Garden. The food was amazing and the ambiance was perfect.
Food was pricy, but absolutely excellent and service was great.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Talulah's Garden. What a lovely restaurant! We started with a cheese board which consisted of 6 of their most popular cheeses. All were delicious. We had the asparagas soup (YUM) and the strawberry goat cheese salad which was also great. The main entrees, seared scallops and the duck were a big hit. The lamb paparadelle was good but a bit salty. We also had 3 desserts - marscapone cheesecake, the fruit crisp, and the skillet chocolate cookie. All were delicious.
Food was ok. Service was terrible, it took over 15 minutes for our server to give us water and take our drink order. Another 10+ minutes to get our food order after our wine was brought out. Same for dessert with the dessert menu. Overall it took almost 2 hours for dinner, when the food came out pretty quickly compared to the service, it seemed like we were waiting forever. Will not return or recommend. We don't worry about how much dinners cost usually but $200+ for my fiancee and I to be unsatisfied with the food and service seemed like a huge waste.
Food was good but I would not go back. Service was not as good as it should have been. Quite loud...difficult to hold a conversation.
Server was very friendly and attentive. Sat out in the garden area and it was just beautiful. Food is always inventive and delicious
This restaurant is fabulous! A perfect setting, awesome service, delicious food, and great wine. We dined outside for the summer solstice and had a wonderful evening!!
I will always love this place! The food is amazing and I can never finish it all (probably b/c I get excited and order too much). The menu is creative, the drinks are good, and the restaurant is beautiful. You cannot reserve the garden area, it’s first come first serve, so only if you have an early dinner reservation is it possible to sit outside. My only complaint from my most recent visit is that, they were very busy, and even though we arrived on time for our 7:30 reservation, we had to stand and wait next to hostess station to be seated for 20 minutes. We were not the only ones that had to do so and it was a little crowded. I think I’m the future we will make earlier reservations to avoid the busy time
We celebrated our Anniversary and it was incredible. Our waitress was very attentive, made great suggestions and even surprised us with an Anniversary treat❤️ Would definitely go back again. Highly recommend!!
We had the most wonderful date! We could not have had more beautiful weather to enjoy the garden. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable. We were so impressed and cannot wait to return!
We had a great dinner experience at Talula’s Garden. Everything was great. Especially our server Elijah. Thank you for your great service.
They were lovely to me and my nine year old dining companion.
We always go back to Talula’s. They meticulously prepare everything they make!
Wonderful dinner for our anniversary! we ate outside in the garden, which was beautiful. We had the perfect cheese plate, the scallops and the duck breast. Food was excellent and so was the service. Thanks, Ariel!
Dining outside, great drinks, marvelous food, lovely service. Our server was as sweet as could be, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and unobtrusive. The bonus was, no rain! The staff made sure we were not rushed and able to make it to the theater on time. All great.
Went for our pre-theater dinner. Chose the chef’s menu which is pricey but well worth it. Each plate was a delicious selection and included items we might not have been aware of. All in all the meal and service were perfect
Had a delicious meal last weekend. Service was great and they did an amazing job accommodating my little one. Looking forward to our next visit.
Food and service great. Party next to us was a little loud. It manageable
Talula's Garden is simply one of the best restaurants in Philadelphia. If you are lucky enough to go on a warm summer evening, you can sit outside but even if you are inside, it's a fantastic experience. The food is inventive without being too clever. Everything is flavorful, delicious and seasonal.
If you are a Philly foodie, Talula's is a must.
The food is always delicious. The pasta with crabs was notable and the salmon was as cooked to perfection. The noise level was unbearable. A table of 10 women should be seated in a separate room!!!
Excellent experience and food. The cheese plate was very good as were the pastas. Highly recommend.
Overall the food was great. However my partner had the pork chop and it was on the fatty side. I had the scallops which were very good.
Food was amazing! Only con was the prices. Went here before seeing a Broadway show and the service was great and we made it out in plenty of time. We both got the chicken entree and the mustard and salsa sauces were amazing with the chicken. The potatoes are basically French fries and then it came with asparagus. They brought us out complementary rolls from the kitchen that had a donut type consistency with tomato oil and butter on top and they tasted like pizza. Dessert was also amazing. The carrot cake with the ginger ice cream and the donuts were out of this world! If you don't mind splurging a bit on a great dinner and a pretty garden ambiance, I would highly recommend !
Don't miss Talula's Garden! You will not be disappointed--excellent and interesting food and top-notch service!
I went to Talula’s the first time 4 years ago. And I have not stopped thinking of our experience. Therefore, this is why my next time in Philly, this restaurant was a must. It was exceptional.
To a certain degree feels like a Fogo de Chao for foodies. The food is very good and the service is at tentative but there is a little bit of a sense that you are in a conveyor belt
Outstanding, memorable dining experience. From the first bite to the last, hated to see the meal end.
Always a wonderful experience!
We enjoyed the most delicious Fathers Day Brunch . The menu was excellent , so hard to choose . We started with the fresh fruit bowl and French toast ; both were so delicious and amazing . For our main course we chose the frittata . It was a beautiful presentation with roasted potatoes and salad , all prepared just perfect . The brunch made for a very nice Father’s Day celebration . We so enjoy Talula’s Garden !!
The hostess recommended seating outside. It had downpoured earlier and I was reluctant but we took her advice. So happy that we did. The garden is cozy and relaxing. Such a beautiful spot.
The food exceeded our expectations..from signature cocktails to cheese board to main brunch courses, perfection. Perfectly seasoned entrees. Savory and sweet. Will return for dinner.
I feel like I found my new "go to" place.
Amazing! Got this tip from a friend, sealed a reservation on line, and it was exceptional. Decorations in the place were quaint, waitress was super nice and professional. They inadvertently brought out the appertizers and main dishes together and then proceeded to apologize profusely and comp us for all the appertizers. How nice was that? Food was scrumptious. All homemade, all carefully prepared and served, and so delicious.
Went for brunch to celebrate my birthday. The service was wonderful. Well executed and accommodating. The food was delicious but expected for higher end brunch location. Drinks were unique and tasty.
Talulas was amazing! Service was excellent and the food was to die for! I will definitely recommend to my friends and will be coming back myself
We love Talula's Garden! From our outstanding server, Tracy, to the outstanding food, it doesn't get
any better. Thank-you so much for the deliciousness! hospitality and overall wonderful experience
$24 for eggs benedict with “crabmeat” in quotes because there was almost none of it at all. I don’t mind paying for good food but please give me what I am paying for. Portions were otherwise great and everyone liked their meal.
