We sat on the patio and had a delicious meal with a lovely ambience, even with the rain. The service was a little slow. They seemed a little shortstaffed, but nothing changed with the level of the quality of the delicious food and the courteous staff. Always a treat to eat at Tavolino

I tried calling to make a reservation and called at 3pm in the afternoon and no one ever answered the phone and was not able to leave a voice message. Luckily I was able to go online and make a reservation or I would have gone elsewhere.

Everything was delightful. Our waitress, Stephanie, was friendly and helpful and attentive. The food was fantastic. We had focaccia, zucchini parm and calamari as appetizers and fret were delicious. The eggplant parm, bolognese, arugula salad, chicken panini and fries were all outstanding. Those fries were amazing. My husband and I have been several times. We brought our friends to celebrate a birthday. I’m sure they will be back as well! They were quite impressed!

I rated this experience as "good" due to what I consider an issue that needs to be addressed: We were greeted by two hostesses who were very nice and welcomed us as soon as we entered. We were seated at a very nice table next to a window and looked out at the patio area. We were waited on immediately and given menus. My wife ordered the salmon which she thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered the chicken which according to the menu was prepared as they provide and was a 1/2 chicken. The dishes were served to us and my chicken was served as two legs with thighs not a 1/2 chicken as stated on the menu. I mentioned it to the waiter and he said it was packaged incorrectly. My issue is why was I not told in advance that 1/2 chicken was not available but rather two chicken legs. I would never had made this order if I had known this. The waiter never acknowledged this until I mentioned it. Very disappointing. A reorder would have required cooking time and more waiting while my wife ate. No allowance was made for this either. The overall satisfaction with this restaurant for us went from outstanding to unacceptable.
