Amazing food and service
Anniversary celebration. Great service, great food.
A good restaurant. The saying is true, don’t order seafood in Denver. It was not bad, but fresh trumps this any day. If you get too, the breakfast was amazing. They have perfect scrambled eggs in the morning, the bacon had a smoked flavor to it (amazing), and the bread was really fresh.
Terra Bistro was okay. Maybe a little overpriced for average food. Also the wrong salad was brought out for one in our group and the waiter was flummoxed about what to do despite being a pleasant person. Keep your expectations low if you go here.
Very creative dishes. We complemented the chef for taste as well as presentation. Dessert was outstanding!
This restaurant has a great menu and my party of 6 agreed .. my fav. Fried oyster..amazing!
colleague had the peppered filet and it was stunning. everything about the dish. the brocolini was crunchy, the mashed was creamy and the bordelaise was rich and delicious. i had the “chicken fried” wagyu filet and it was a travesty from start to finish. the steak had a watery flavor that i’ve never experienced before. the “chicken fried” part was flavorless and soggy. the rice tots where tough and stuck to your teeth, it was a complete miss.
wine was good though and so was the service.
Wonderful setting and creative affordable cuisine. Great apps try the baked ricotta, the fried goat cheese and the sushi rice balls. My friend had the pork chop and loved it. My wife had the Salmon. I had the gnocchi. Great friendly service
Family was in town and the last day of restaurant week
Great place for any occasion
Andy, our waiter was super. It was one of the most relaxed evenings at TB. Nice leisurely evening to really joy (though I always do) every bite!,
We visited during restaurant week and had a great meal, including some fun cocktails. They have a children’s menu that is quite nice as well.
Delicious dinner. Great place to eat while in Vail. Save room for dessert.
What a surprise! Amazing food and service. The corn soup with lobster was super memorable. The pork chop was tender and juicy with a nice glaze on it. Friendly service in which all wait staff is sharing duties. Highly recommend it.
Eclectic menu, but the food was a bit spicy, covering up the basic taste of the core ingredients. A lighter hand would have been preferable. Good wine list andquietamnbience, attentive waitstaff.
The food here is consistently excellent. My favorite restaurant in the Vail Valley.
Exceptional food and service!
Very accommodating to dietary needs as well - thank you!
We always loved Terra Bistro, but this was a particularly good many and good value for off season in Vail.
Fabulous enjoyed a very nice evening and meal. Every dinner was delicious. Very nice.
Our server, Michael, was exceptional! Perfect balance of making sure we were taken care of without being overbearing. He definitely was one of the better servers we’ve had in a long time!
In need of major update. Food was good, but not outstanding. Service (other than the bartender) was below par.
excellent service, excellent food. this, in a village filled of excellent options for dining. they met all my requests and met or exceeded expecations.
Food was delicious. Menu was mostly gluten-free but you wouldn’t know it!
Very creative food. The flavors of each appetizer dish were hitting all spectrums. The Ahi app was a high quality tuna with sticky rice tots, creative and the tables favorite bites.
We were stuck in back of a side room, odd, ambiance was not up to the prices of the menu when seated here, though it was much quieter than main room. Cocktails were also inventive and good. Carrot top pesto on salmon was a little too earthy for the dish but it was cooked perfectly. We will all definitely come back and will highly recommend this restaurant. Nothing boring on the menu!
We have always loved this restaurants but had an unfortunate experience yesterday evening with the food. However the staff and the manager were very gracious and saved the day. We will definitely go back.
This is a top foodie destination to make in vail. The meat dishes are all excellent
Great food and great service.
Best Restaurant in Vail
The service was excellent but all four of our party found the menu rather limited. Wine list was extensive but also expensive and a good reasonably priced wine was non existent.
Wonderful fresh food expertly prepared , will return each time we return to Vail.
Food was delicious. Restaurant ambiance was okay. Restaurant was loud when we got there but we had later reservations. A large table soon left so that helped. One of the best restaurants we ate at while in Vail. Highly recommend.
We came for a birthday celebration and had a fabulous meal. Service was great! The poke with terra tots is delicious and memorable...the virgin drinks yummy and fun for the kids, excellent steaks and overall a great experience. After multiple visits, we highly recommend this somewhat off the beaten path place.
Great food. Great Service. Been coming here for years, and it’s better than ever. Only downside, it’s way too noisy.
Killer meal! My wife said it may have been the best meal she ever had. Given we’ve eaten at great restaurants all over the US and Europe, this is a pretty big compliment. Wagyu tar tar was amazing as was the Mahi Mahi and the risotto. We will be back!
We have been very loyal fans of Terra Bistro so hate to rate it so mediocre. But on this visit, it truly was. This is the second or third time we were seated in the back room - which is anything but special - is loud - and you feel like your server has forgotten about you. We do think ours did this time - as when the lamb was served, it was terribly overdone. Everything was just plain average.
Hopefully our next visit is dramatically better....
Had high hopes. Waited an hour and a half for our food, couldn’t get a second glass of wine until we were ready for the check, waiter didn’t check on us to refill any of the drinks throughout the meal. Not impressed for the price. Food was alright but nothing special.
The food was delicious. They have fantastic gluten free options, including a gluten free fryer that makes delicious seem like an inadequate adjective! Even the complimentary amuse bouche course was gf! My gluten eating dining companion loved everything as well, so no worries that they’re catering only to those of us unable to eat gluten. They just accommodate us as well as the normies without sacrificing creativity or taste. Yum! Can’t wait to go back!
We almost never order chicken or pork chops when eating out, but both came highly recommended from our bartender. We were not disappointed. Both were delicious!!! Also loved the Ahi Poke Tots, the ambiance, & the service!
Healthy and delicious meals! I ordered the salmon and my 8 y/o also ordered the kid's salmon. It was great! My husband and 14 y/o both ordered the flat iron chicken which was excellent!
Excellent food and service as usual. Knowledgeable sommelier Jessie listened to my wine preferences and recommended two great bottles.
