The Chocolate Sanctuary
Enjoyed the fix-prix lunch celebrating my Friends’s birthday. Meal and service was very good as usual. Deserts were excellent!
The service was outstanding and they have a great lunch menu.
Surprisingly reasonably priced for outstanding food and service. Their craft cocktails are out of this world. This restaurant has become our "go to" for celebration dinners.
First time for brunch. CS never disappoints. The food and wonderful staff is top notch! Highly recommend
Water was extremely knowlegabale and helpful. While menu items are fixed, substitutions are easily accomodated. Pastry chefs are fun to watch.
Marie was a great server, very attentive and friendly. The food was interesting and cool. Very nice place to go for a special family gathering.
Food was interesting, with cocoa in nearly everything I ate. Food was flavorful, but my pork chop was not as tender as I would have liked. If I lived in the area, I would dine there again. Good wait staff.
My experience at chocolate sanctuary was really great.Food was delicious very tasty drinks and desserts .We had friendly server and so attentive .I definitely will go back.
We had a little hick-up with the risotto coming out bland and they fixed the situation right away. Good food and time as always.
High school & college graduation dinner.
Food and service was AWESOME!
Nice setting, colors and food
Always a great experience at the Chocolate Sanctuary. Delicious!
I booked a last minute office meeting and they were super accommodating!!! Very kind and efficient. We were seated in a private quiet area and Christine was our waitress. We were a total of 10ppl. Service was PERFECT. actually beyond perfect. The food was excellent and creative and we ended up not only having a very productive meeting but also a GREAT TIME! Kudos to the bartender for making us some amazing pear martinis and jalapeño margaritas. Thanks a million and we will definitely be back!!! Dr Alsahlani
This was a lovely place for lunch.
The brunch set up was poorly organized-most of the items were in a centralized location, in very tight quarters... We felt like it was a fight to get any items from the table because there were two lines nearby for the omelet and waffle stations. We barely, if at all, saw our server for an orange juice or water refill. And when we did as for more orange juice, our waitress acted as if we were “putting her out.”
The food was very good. Not sure if it’s worth the hassle, dining here again.
Thus is the second time I have been to the brunch. The food was excellent. My compliments to chef Nick and his staff.
I have a mixed review on my last trip to The Chocolate Sanctuary. My service by my waitress was outstanding and she is the main reason why my review is not as negative.
So we had a reservation for 7:30 PM and it was not that busy, we walked in maybe 5 minutes early for our reservation and the host said they are getting our table ready. We stood there waiting for about 50 minutes and about 5 groups walk in after us and got sat before us. The whole time we were waiting there was a table for 2 open by the front door that nobody was getting sat at. It was a awkward spot and we did not want that seat and did not think we were going to be sat there since it was open the WHOLE time we were waiting, then another host comes up to us and says ok here you guys go and it was that table by the front door. On top of it we went there for my girlfriends birthday and we put that in our reservation and not 1 person said happy birthday nor did we get a birthday treat. It was very aggravating since we had to wait forever and it seemed like all the tables around us were celebrating birthdays. The experience definitely brought my girlfriend down on her birthday.
Beautiful and social restaurant to go dine for a special occasions or with friends. The menu contains a good variety of alcoholic beverages, delicious entres and dessert.
Food was awesome, service was great.. Very unique menu. I loved it.
Quality delicious food, waiting staff was very friendly and helpful. Great cocktails
Wonderful time wonderful service wonderful food...will be back
Would only recommend for dessert it was too cold in there to be comfortable and the waitress got multiple things incorrect food was good but the price was too high for what it was
Mother’s Day brunch. The only issue we had was that the waffle bar was 30 minutes behind and by the time we got our waffle pops we were already full.
We always enjoy our eating experiences at the Chocolate Sanctuary. The food is always fabulous.i must say I prefer the main (original) dining room to the newer dining area because it’s nice to be closer to the food and the fireplace.
The food was unique and wonderful. Wait staff needed to be more attentive.
Fixed price lunch menu on Saturday exceeded our expectations. Enjoyed the butternut squash soup, Cesar salad and carved Turkey sandwich with fruit. Generous portions and impeccable service. Highly recommend.
Top notch evening. The entrees were great. Unusually quiet for a Friday night, but it lent to a chill, low key atmosphere that I appreciate. Great coffee at the end of the meal.
Had a great time. Enjoyed every minute.
My husband and I enjoyed our date at the Chocolate Sanctuary. Our server Roberto was great. The food was delicious.
The food was delicious and the prix fixe menu for lunch was excellent value. Kayla took care of us and provided wonderful service! She helped make my birthday celebration even happier! And desserts were spectacular (do not miss!)
The food was OK, but nothing special. The mole chicken has lots of bone and skin, but the sauce was very good. The rice and veggies were also very good. The room was quiet enough to have a comfortable conversation. The service was very good.
The Butternut Squash soup is amazing. Everything was clean and delicious. My only issue was with the hand drier in the bathroom. The airflow was very random.
Very nice ; good food
Food was good but service was poor.
As always the food was good. The service on the slow side; our reservation was for 10:45; it took at least 10 minutes before the waitress came over.
The young woman making the waffells was slow as well. I asked for the chicken waffle; was given a number ; waited a good 15+ minutes before it was ready; they surely needed more help at that station.
Overall it was a good brunch.
We always have a great experience. I am impressed with how our waiter picked up on what we want and anticipated our needs. Truly an exceptional experience.
Fabulous! We just had an incredible meal with awesome service!
Service was horrible, did not even check on us if we needed something had to ask for refill of drinks towards the end of the meal. Server was just walking past us, could've been more attentive. So disappointed, was there for lunch before and the service was phenomenal didn't have to ask server was on top of things. I'll probably go back for lunch never for dinner, it wasn't even busy night .
Excellent service and food. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
First time here. My husband tried the chicken mole. He's a huge fan of mole but said that the type of chocolate they used made it too bitter for his taste. I had the white fish trio and each one was delicious but a little lacking in salt. We also had the butternut squash soup and spinach and beet salad, both of which we enjoyed very much. Dessert were tasty as well. My husband had the creme brulee. It tasted good but the brulee top was soft. I had the chocolate mousse. It was very rich and the presentation was a lot of fun.
My issue with our visit was the service. We sat in the bar area and from the start felt rushed. One of the bartenders was the waiter and was overly attentive. He asked if he could take the bread basket (still with bread in it) away before we were done with our entrees. My husband finished his entree before me and they cleared away his dishes. Fine. However, they also took my bread plate and some of my silverware while I as still eating. Didn't even ask.
Overall, food was good so I think we'll give it another shot but maybe not sit in the bar area.
