Set in a 1780 Pennsylvania Stone Farmhouse with deep windows and a warm pleasant atmosphere this is a family owned and operated restaurant that is recognized as one of the Best of Lancaster for dinner, Sunday Brunch, patio dining, wine list, atmosphere and romantic settings. Although our building is over 225 years old we update our menu daily! Change is a good thing at the Greenfield. We specialize in next day delivery of seafood while we continue to cut our own steaks. You will enjoy selections from our wine list that has been recognized by the Wine Spectator Magazine for over 9 years. Our patio and balcony over looking the bar is among our customers favorite requests for lunch and dinner seating, while the wine cellar has two of the most romantic tables in the area. It was my husband’s birthday and I selected Greenfield restaurant for the occasion. It was perfect! The server was friendly and attentive. She had a great sense of humor too. Food was fantastic.

Food was mediocre compared to the hype and reviews, I was expecting more. Very traditional style food, lots of gravy smothered an otherwise very well done steak. Portions were small Risotto under the scallops was drowning in butter/oil. Would not come back, especially for the price point. Would rather have a $100 meal elsewhere, better food can be found easily for that price.

The Greenfield Inn is always one of the restaurants we go to when we stay in Lancaster. Loved the food, atmosphere & the jazz trio was a treat. Our waiter/bartender Christian was great.

Wednesday night they had jazz trio playing in bar. Excellent music. Nice sound that didn’t overshadow ones dinner conversation. Had crab cake appetizer. Swordfish special and pork schnitzel. Both outstanding. Lemon tart was superb. Pleasant ambiance to bar. Outstanding evening

you may have been short of help but we did have to wait at several points during the meal. I waited a long while to get my credit card back after lunch. The girl said she had to teach someone how to handle a credit card. Overall a nice lunch

Reservation for lunch with out of town friends. The place was slammed but service worked hard to keep up. The food was exceptional. Several of us had the Halibut which was truly amazing. Wine with old friends plus good food are always a welcome combination.

We celebrated our anniversary at the Greenfield. Food and service were fantastic. And price was fair considering our entree came with salad, rolls and 2 vegetables. Our waiter was knowledgeable about all entrees and answered our questions about the chef who was a White House chef in the past.

The Greenfield Restaurant exceeded our expectations. The server (Chaz(sp)) was excellent. Had perfect timing throughout the evening and was very pleasant. The food was excellent and good value for price paid. The building itself was very nice and ambiance was great. Will definitely be back.

Love this restaurant so much history.The former WhiteHouse Chef John came out of kitchen to talk to us .He is so humble and sweet .His restaurant is beautiful and food was spot on .Love that he uses locally harvested veggies grown here in Lancaster.Our new drive to spot from Northern Va.Worth every mile and his brother made us feel right at home also!!!Dont Miss this restaurant if you are in the Lancaster area!!!!!
