The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.
What Insiders Are Saying
The Pink Door is part circus burlesque, part Italian restaurant, and is one of the best dining experiences you can have in Seattle.
Seriously, one of the best meals and dining experiences I've had in quite a while. Very seldom do you eat at a restaurant and all four meals are wonderful. Tonight was one of those nights. Among the four of us, we had the lasagna, cioppino, linguini and clams, and the special fish, which was salmon. Sevice was wonderfulI, and the evening entertainment was also fun. If I could give 6 stars I would! Highly recommended...make reservations.
As soon as we entered we saw how greatly decorated the place was. We were greeted very kindly upon arrival and they met our request of having a view of pike’s place. Our waiter was very professional and gave us great recommendations that we absolutely loved! We came to Seattle and heard about this place and it surely did not disappoint! Our view + the service + the exquisite food equaled the perfect meal! We had the lasagna and oh my goodness! The lasagna was to die for! Will definitely come again for great pasta and drinks when in Seattle!
Wonderful meal! The server was especially personable and helpful. The atmosphere was celebratory. The food was just right in every way. We will be back!
Excellent, great to be back after all these years. Made sure to visit after living in San Diego for past 18 years. Missed the delicious spinach lasagna. Could have eaten two portions😍🍴
Truly outstanding. Delicious little neck clams sweet and succulent with linguini and just the right touch of red pepper flakes. Chock full of clams enough for one with every bite.
Loved this place so much. Our server thomas made the experience so above and beyond that we came back the next day for lunch. Amazing food and such a special spot. Thank you!!
Food was mediocre at best. The noise level was high. The ambiance was typical Seattle, al most non-existence.
great experience. Had their roasted garlic, rack of lamb, cioppino and salmon special. e
Everything was delicious. The only small issue was the salmon was a little too salty. We had great service and an overall great time.
The Pink Door has been recommended by so many people when I mentioned I was going to Seattle. The second time to Seattle we made sure to make reservations. The food was carefully crafted and delicious. The specialty cocktail I had was creative and tasted so good. The atmosphere was everything you could hope for when having lunch on a Friday afternoon. We sat in the outdoor area bc the weather was too nice to sit inside but the inside is decorated so beautifully. I hope to come back for the burlesque show on a Saturday night! Loved the Pink Door! Can’t want to go back!
My husband got the sausage & rigatoni’s & the sausage was dry.
Amazing food! Sat outdoors and it was lovely! Service was great! Can’t wait to go back the next time we are in town!
We had high hopes for this restaurant and several people told us this was an excellent place in Seattle. After walking into an unmarked door, we walked into what felt like a dungeon with a strange smell. As we were seated, we noticed our utensils were dirty. Our waitress was not friendly and seemed to merely tolerate us.
The menu was basic, the food was average and the pasta was very dry. The saving grace was the live music, which we enjoyed but the bread and oil was probably the best part of the meal. Never a good thing. We made the reservation over a month in advance and could only get a table at 9:15 pm so we were very disappointed we wasted one of our precious nights eating here.
Had my parents and grandma in town and we were able to sit on the outside patio! I always love this restaurant- I switched it up & got the seafood special (halibut) for my meal & it was amazing! Their pasta & specials never disappoint!
Quirky, hip interior and beautiful outside eating deck with a water view. Suggest thin, easy care cushions for outdoor bench seating...otherwise yummy place! Thank you.
Wonderful evening. Everything perfect and the food absolutely delicious. We will be back, a real treasure in Seattle.
Food was delicious and atmosphere / view perfect for our first night in Seattle... our waiter was friendly and attentive... lived up to recommendations
The restaurant is a gem in Seattle! My parents and I found it by accident and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Thomas, our server, was very knowledgeable, efficient, and on point. The ambience was comfortable and eclectic. The food was very good with some unexpected and welcome twists.
The Pink Door is very eclectic and the vibe is really unique and cool! Staff is accommodating and service is great. Our food was delicious. The fresh catch was exquisite. We were entertained by a sultry aerialist. Her exotic rope and hoop dan e was quite beautiful and sexy. This capped the outstanding experience we had here. I highly recommended next time you visit Seattle.
We had a very enjoyable evening. Looking forward to my next visit to Seattle so we can visit your lovely restaurant again.
Beautiful, fun atmosphere with a view, wonderful service, and great food. Awesome bar and pretty dining room for quiet conversation.
High school grad celebration with my niece.
Loved the service and sunset view. Would recommend to go around 8:30-9 and take the waterfront seating to enjoy the sunset. I could not get a table while trying to make early booking so booked seat at the bar. On reaching there they adjusted for a table overlooking the sea. I got lucky and I thoroughly enjoyed the night.
We went to Pink Door to celebrate our anniversary. The food and service was both amazing. The Lasagna Pink door dish is definitely worth trying!
Fantastic spot! Went on Sunday for dinner to celebrate graduation/fathers day. There was an aerial artist who performed three times during our meal (have to sit in “bar area”. Food and staff were superb! Worth waking up early and making the reservation a month prior. Will definitely be back! :)
I am so so happy I listened to other Yelpers and made this a "must go" on my trip to Seattle! We were only seeing the city for one day and with how in demand this place is, decided to go with a 3:00 pm early dinner reservation rather than wait for hours at peak time. It was perfect weather so we dined on the patio and it was literal perfection. Started off with an amazing bubbly glass of prosecco, then had the rigatoni with meatballs. So fresh and delicious. BUT my biggest advice is to GET THE RICOTTA CHEESECAKE. We asked for a side of strawberries with it. But it was the best thing I have ever tasted in my life. Packed with so much flavor, my friend literally drooled when she took the first bite. Didn't want it to end. They also put a little candle on it for my birthday - loved the acknowledgement! Thank you so much for a great time!
Thank god we had a reservation - there was already a line before they opened! Weather was great so we asked to sit on patio - service was fast, food was delicious - one of our favorite meals and experiences.
Outstanding, as always. Great food, service and setting. A favorite!
Excellent food. One of the best King Salmon dishes ever
Very nice wait staff, good service, nice location. My date enjoyed her entrée (clams and linguine) but mine (tajarin) was bland and disappointing -- not nearly as good as my previous meals at the Pink Door.
Beautiful restaurant and such a cool entrance! The salmon and pasta were great. The steak was kind of tough. Worth checking out!
Hands down the food was amazing but our server, Hayley, definitely ruined our experience. My friend and I felt rushed and the service wasn’t personal nor anticipatory. Being in the service industry myself, I did not feel well taken care of.
At least once every summer I try to have what I consider the quintessential Seattle dining experience, aka having lunch on the Pink Door patio. Every year it is exquisite in every way.
It was a upbeat place. Very crowded with little space. Very loud. We liked the atmosphere though and the pretty flowers. It would probably be good to have a sign for the first timers or a brighter pink door because it was hard to find. The food was tasty and the dessert was yummy!
Pink Door is always fabulous. Best food, best service, best ambience. Just remember to make a reservation.
The staff was extremely accommodating when we asked to change seating and our server was kind enough to let us know that even though we’d be changing servers, they had a system so we did not have to tip servers separately. Have always been a fan of this place.
Lovely late lunch. Thank you!
Friend came in from Colorado
Loved this restaurant so very much! We went here because they were on the top 100 for OpenTable. Heard so many good things and Pink Door did not disappoint! Excellent food, service, atmosphere, and view! Yes
A beautiful restaurant both inside and out on the patio. I would highly recommend a visit for lunch or dinner. I'll be back when I return to Seattle.
