Amazing as usual. BYOW Monday at QCH is my favourite night of the month.
Absolutely banging Sunday roast...
Wow what a meal. Wonderful flavors. Highly recommended . My only criticism is the red wine by the glass at the modest price level could be greatly improved.
Lovely cosy restaurant that does excellent food.
Absolutely delicious lunch- great value, great atmosphere
Too rich, too much fat, butter, the gravy ice cream on bread is not a good idea
Too much cream and sugar in the desserts
Everything was amazing, except for a couple of things:
1) Potatoes that came with our roast tasted a bit stale
2) The brisket was too salty
Other than that, perfect experience and we will be back for sure!
Amazing evening. Excellent food along with amazing customer service, you must try it. I gave the restaurant 5 stars on TripAdvisor. Great restaurant!
My wife and I had a great evening meal here. We’ve been to the TQCH a number of times and it never fails. The food was great, the service was excellent and the general ambiance was relaxed. Highly recommend going here
What a superb restaurant - buzzy, great and interesting food, good wines and service.
This was a great spot for a pre-Christmas lunch. A festive set menu was creative and delicious. Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere convivial. I am looking forward to visiting again.
Magic space, magic food and magic people
I have been going for many years, though have lived in France for the last 3. This place has always been fantastic. They haven't gone silly Michelin star poncey but have stuck to their credo and brilliant passionate food and service. Great to see you last week.
Was great - just a bit annoyed that the option on the lunch menu that I looked at online on the day and via confirmation email via opentable (and a month beforehand) of two lunch courses vanished and only the three lunch courses for £35 remained. Suprised when bill came and was charged seperately for each course (2 x 2 people) and it was more than £35 each (just).
At the very least it would have been nice to have been given a nudge for a third course as in effect it was paid for.
Annoying - but will def be back as was great food in a great place.
Went here for an early family xmas dinner. The service and food was super tasty. The food was super rich, which I feel is because it was Xmas. No complaints, just meant we had to walk a little bit slower to the train.
Service and food were good but it was rather smoky. The prices were quite steep.
Went for Sunday lunch and had wonderful roasts with great sides. Made for a lovely lazy lunch. They allow BYO with corkage, so that's a bonus.
Food, drink selection and service were phenomenal, however, the space is small and doesn't cater well for noise!
It's a really interesting establishment with a traditionally gamey menu and some nice flourishes. Worth a try although I'm not sure whether we'd return given the number of other places you can eat in London for that kind of money.
A really good meal; the mashed potatoes & the brisket particularly stood out as excellent.
Wines a little on the pricey side.
On the whole the food very good, but let down a little by the pulled brisket which had quite an unusual flavour.
Great quality food with great service.
Excellent food, wine and super friendly service. We had a fab time and will definitely be back soon.
Very good for game; great cocktails; the wine list had quite a few bottles unavailable.
The QCH feels like an old friend. The confit spuds are nationally famous and rightly so.. And the onglet as always was superb. A special shout out this time for the fish soup starter with a grated black olive garnish. Quite magnificent. Hat tip also to the cotes de Rhône house red: great value by the glass.
Really great service, amazing food and lovely restaurant. Perhaps a little high in price, but then the food was really tasty & the wine a perfect match, so worth it in the end. The December tasting menu was definitely worth it
Incredible food, romantic setting. Service prompt but not overbearing.
Food and staff was amaaaaazing! But it was very cold where we sat, even though they had a big curtain for the door...
Always a wonderful experience eating at the Quality Chop House! Delicious food and excellent hospitality. One of my absolute favourite restaurants in London.
The table we were sat at wasn't great - would have liked a better table for 2.
We were looking forward to this but the food, atmosphere and service outshone our expectations
Delicious food, great service and interesting wine list
I purchased the beautiful recipe book and the stories of the menu plus the fabulous forward in the book convinced me we must try.
The quality of the food was amazing, the service genuine and exemplary - what's not to love?
Unfortunately did not meet the high standard we were expecting of Quality Chop House. Experience further marred by kitchen's poor ventilation, clothes, bags and hair smelled of oil after. Only saving grace is the services provided by the young staffs!
Was the first visit though my guest who I was treating had been there a few times. I do not eat meat but already knew the menu would suit me. Only gave service four stars because we were so busy talking I didn't really pay attention but it was seamless and unobtrusive. Only one small comment about my glass of red wine which had sediment at the bottom so was unable to finish it. It tasted fine but a long time since I had seen that. The food was excellent and very original. Will be returning some time for more of their famous confit potatoes.
The waitress spilt the wine and went on my boyfriend shoes, and she didn’t said anything
Exceptional food, exceptionally friendly and knowledgable service, exceptional ambiance = exceptional evening. Cannot recommend highly enough for meat lovers.
Simply the best dining experience you can find in London - traditional British meals taken to a level that far exceeds expectations
Great food, very smelly due to open kitchen and poor ventilation. Our clothes badly smelled of food/ oil.
I love the Quality Chop House. My first experience dining with them was at Wilderness Festival in 2018. They are passionate about food and process all food themselves in their butchers shop using quality locally sourced produce. The restaurant in Farringdon assures a cosy and intimate dining experience and the service is exceptional. Adjacent to the restaurant is their Quality butchers shop and Quality Wine shop, where excellent products can be purchased. Also you can sit in the wine shop and partake in a glass or two (or more) of the extensive selection of wines in their inventory.
