Went for a beef filet but they were out. Had to settle for another choice. Disappointed. Half price glasses of wine are a nice touch.

We had (another) disappointing experience at Village Vintner. We thought they had turned a service corner, but have not . After many years of monthly dining and being Beer Club and Wine Club members, we are looking for a new place. First, we waited over an hour for hour for our dinner. The food was warm and tasty. But it came only after we told our server that we wanted dinner or our check in five minutes. Added to that, the table next to us, who waited about as long as us, had their food delivered cold! They left without eating, food in carry out boxes. They did offer us free dessert. Cold comfort. The restaurant was not close to full, with maybe 20 diners, if that many. While the owner was there, he did not come by to offer apologies or anything else. Unfortunately, this type of disaster has happened more often than not over the past several months. Sadly, after many years at. Village Vintner, my friend and I are considering another venue for our monthly night out.

The food was good, ribs was tasty, truffle parm fries was ok. I only tasted the truffle on a couple pieces which was not worth the upcharge. Their hot honey pizza was also very good. I enjoyed their fruit wines and would try more next time. Overall, food is good. Little extras would be nice like giving us an extra plate and wet wipes for the ribs.... The price is a little more expensive compared to other places. Overall, it's worth a try. And another visit

FAQs

Yes, The Village Vintner is a popular spot for date nights and special evenings. Guests frequently praise the welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and extensive handcrafted wine list, making it great for a cozy dinner or anniversary. The casual-yet-elegant dining style, wood‑fired pizzas, and separate wine tasting bar create a relaxed, intimate vibe. For a quieter table, aim for a weekday evening or an early seating on weekends.

Portions are generally solid but opinions vary by dish. Many guests say entrees (steaks, pizzas, pasta) are satisfying and shareable, while a few mention specific items (Philly cheesesteak, some plates) felt small for the price. If you’re ordering something like pizza or ribs, expect generous, wood‑fired servings; for pricier entrees you may see mixed feedback. If you’re unsure, ask your server about portion size when ordering.
