It’s so good here - excellent menu, delicious food, attentive and friendly service, good wine by the glass. I’ve eaten here 50 times, and always enjoy it as a treat.
We love Toscana. When Oliver is our waiter it adds even more to the meal. He does everything right. I wanted extra sauce for the pasta--done!
Nice table. My wife is in a wheel chair so it is difficult going in and out. They are very helpful.
Wine list is good and reasonable. I over tip because the service makes the meal even better than the food and the food is excellent.
We will continue to visit Toscana and spend serious money. And I'll find times to go for lunch, too!!
Great restaurant. Take your time and enjoy 100%
Best place in LA hands down
Our pastas were not up to usual although they did remake the one we complained about. Since it was a holiday, we don’t expect it to happen again
Always the best food! Never disappoints.
The service was slow. The food was not very good for how expensive it was. The restaurant was also very loud
Best Italian restaurant West of the 405. Wonderfully authentic prepared and presented food, upscale ambience, great service, nice vibe and you could easily hold a conversation without straining your vocal cords. In my book.....that's perfect. Worth a drive to get to, even if you live in the Valley like I do.
Great service but extremely pricey for quantity and quality of food although gnocchis were delicious
Food is consistently fantastic. The Branzino is perfectly cooked and the ravioli is delicious. The service exceptional and the hostess extremely friendly.
It is worthwhile going again.
We Ordered the Dover Sole and the gnocchi pesto which were both outstanding
I gave Toscana a low rating because my wife’s wild boar pasta was extremely salty. We did not notify the staff and give them an opportunity to correct so our bad
Atmosphere is ok, and the service is always top notch
My first bad dish there
We had a great cauliflower appetizer that 4 of us shared. All of our main courses were 😋 delicious. Will definitely return.
Fantastic chicken Milanese...not on menu, but delish.
Toscana did not disappoint. The food was very good, and the ambiance was energetic. Where the experience lacked was in the service. The waiter was beyond rude, which really soured the mood and experience dining at Toscana. While I would go back for the excellent food, I would hope the service would improve, no attitudes necessary, signor.
Great food, horribly over priced for traditional Italian cuisine.
" Les saveurs d Italy se retrouvent en un lieu , Sans en oublier son hospitalite " thanks Emilio
A great moment of vacation sensation Thanks for all from the Wine selected to the Food ..
I ll be back . CJ.
It is difficult to write this because I have been a fan of Toscana since the 1990s but my experience on Wednesday night was not great. The Burrata appetizer was very mediocre and our waiter really rushed us through the meal. All of us felt like they were desperately trying to turn our table - very odd for a 6 pm booking. It just was not a great experience. I won’t be returning soon. 🙁🙁 Sad to report.
I always enjoy my time at Toscana. The service is most excellent and quite attentive. And the food.. delicious!
Cork in wine glass....mediocre food... less than mediocre service...uninteresting pasta...very overpriced...get a life
Outstanding food and service. They go out of their way to accommodate.
As always, excellent!
We have our choice of multiple Brentwood restaurants, but we prefer Toscana over every one of them. The food is superb (and I NEVER use that word!), the tiramisu is literally out of this world, as is all of the food we've had there. The service is excellent, too.
Waiters were very attentive. Truffle risotto was soooo yummy.
Last time I went there I sat in the bar, and the experience was lousy. Undercooked food and bad service. I was hesitant to return. We went back for my son's birthday and was impressed by the warm and professional service. The soup special was better than anything I had in Tuscany. The veal chop was superb. The dover sole was perfect, as was the pasta bolognaise. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to dine on LA's Westside.
We really liked Toscana. They were quick to accommodate us when three of our original party could not make it, and, when we asked, they moved us to a quieter table. The service was professional and efficient and the food was outstanding. My only quibble is that I noted in the reservation that it was my wife's birthday, but they didn't notice that in the reservation, but when I mentioned it to the maitre de, it was taken care of immediately. Can't wait to go back.
Always great. Delicious food, real waiters, not actors. Unpretentious and welcoming.
The reason Toscana is so popular is because the do what they do very well. Every item on the plate is fresh, perfectly cooked, and perfectly seasoned. This is the essence of Italian cooking. That they charge an arm and a leg for this is unfortunate.
Incredible service and food
Been loving this place for thirty years! It never changes and is excellent.
Been eating here for 20+ years. Always great. Order the carciofi salad the "old" way for a simple sliced artichoke and parmesan salad. The chicken paillard with arugula, yum. And the rib eye is the best in town bar none!!!
Toscana is the best in all of West Los Angeles....spectacular ambiance, food, wine list and experience!
The food was excellent. I ordered the ahi tuna salad, which sounds boring, but was soooo delicious. The dressing was a light lemon, and the tuna was over arugula, cucumbers and tomatoes, all of which tasted as if they had just been plucked from the garden! The service was extraordinary. Our waiter was Hollywood gorgeous, and very attentive. Everyone from the matre d to the busboys were clearly there to make our lives just that much sweeter for our time with them. And what a nice change to be in a restaurant where you could easily hear what your tablemates were saying. LOVE THIS PLACE!
Wonderful food and service! Not a place to go for a quiet dinner but as usual energetic and lively!
HAD NOT BEEN TO THE RESTAURANT IN A LONG TIME, BUT THE LOCATION FOR US THAT NIGHT WORKED OUT WELL. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS, AND GENEROUS PORTIONS. WE STARTED WITH THE BURRATA SALAD AND IT WAS A LARGE PORTION FOR THE TWO OF US. SERVICE WAS GOOD -- WE MAY HAVE HAD TO ASK FOR A COUPLE OF ITEMS FOR THE TABLE, AND IT WAS BROUGHT OVER QUICKLY. WE BOTH HAD THE SALMON (BUT AT PRACTICALLY EVERY RESTAURANT, I HAVE TO MAKE A FEW ADJUSTMENTS ON THE SALMON - LIKE COOKED WELL-DONE, SAUCE ON SIDE, ETC.). IT WAS VERY GOOD. THEY HAD BEEN ALLERTED TO PUT A CANDLE IN THE DESSERT FOR MY FRIEND'S BIRTHDAY -- AND THEY DID. SO, ALL IN ALL, A LOVELY DINING EXPERIENCE.
Toscana serves consistently terrific Italian cuisine! The scotta dita is the best ever!
While this restaurant has been in my backyard for years I just discovered it. In Brentwood just beyond the curve on San Vicente in an office building all three of us had the broccoli soup. We were covering three decades (20s, 50s, 60s) and we all loved it. We swore it must have cream but the potato was the secret ingredient. I wanted the prosciutto and melone but it wasn't offered that day which was disappointing. I had the green salad and my guests had entrees that they declared fabulous. I'm going back and if you haven't tried this place you should. Pricey but you get what you pay for.
Love! Toscana is a classic favorite!!! Consistent and always great!
We all enjoyed our dinner in this upbeat and fun atmosphere. The service was attentive. We arrived early and it was relatively quiet. As the evening went on, it got kind of loud but not oppressive. We will be going back to Have the pasta Bolognese which was very good !
Always splendid food in this great neighborhood restaurant. The $45 corkage fee, however, is above and beyond the norm.
What an awful experience! We picked this place because it was conveniently located to meet our friends. We arrived first and it was hard to hear each other...large tables (9 and 6) in a a small area was the issue. They were so loud and the one table had kids running around and screaming. It was as if the parents had no concept that this was a nice restaurant and not their dining room at home. I mentioned something to the surly waiter about the racket and he answered “ well we’re not throwing anybody out!”. This was the same waiter who we had to flag down to place our orders. Never asked if we wanted wine...never poured more water and generally ignored us. I assume we were treated this way because we were not “regulars” those people were greeted with elaborate welcomes and fawning service. Oh well, for the prices (absurd) and the service this one bites the dust. One more outrageously over priced Italian Restaurant! We obviously won’t be back.
